I'm not crazy about popsicles and snocones, but the snocones/shaved ice here is pretty good. Unless you time it right they are packed. Service is fast and friendly. Very large flavor selection.

Initially I gave a 4, but then the owner asked what he could do next time to earn a 5, so I went back and thought about my visit.

Pelicans Snoballs took a customer who loves ice cream and froyo, who doesn't like popsicles, snocones, shaved ice and served me a product that I really enjoyed and will have again. You add to that a friendly, fast staff that can make a long line move pretty darn quickly, an old bayou ambiance, just enough fun to keep the kids entertained while you finish, but not to much fun. Add to that and owner who actually reads reviews, but not just reads them but who wants to be the best enough that he questions a 4 star review and from the smiles of his employees you have to assume cares about them and you have a business that definitely deserves 5 stars.

IT'S OKAY, THEY COULD BE A LITTLE BETTER BY STOP WATERING DOWN THE SYRUP SO MUCH AN BY ADDING A STRAW WITH EVERY SNOWBALL!!! I WHEN OVER TODAY 6/17/22 TO GET A SNOWBALL ONLY TO GET REALLY DISAPPOINTED, THE SYRUP FLAVORS THAT THEY USE HAVE NO SYRUP CONSISTENCY IN THEM, THE SYRUP LOOKS MORE LIKE JUST A BLAND COLOR WITH NO FLAVOR TO IT BECAUSE THE SYRUP HAS BEEN ( WATERED DOWN ) A LOT WITH NO FLAVOR AND HARDLY NO RICH COLOR TO IT. A REAL SNOWBALL HAS LOTS OF TRUE LIVELY COLOR AND FLAVOR TO IT, SO WHAT YOU ARE NOW PAYING FOR IS A EXPENSE CUP OF WATERED DOWN ICE, WITH A FLAT COLOR TO IT. Bright, recognizable from a distance but depending on which way you're coming from it may not be seen from a distance. Customer service was excellent, it was my first time there and recommendations were made then suggestions based on what I was looking for. The guy working was soooo helpful and friendly he even anticipated my travel needs and made my order to go so I wouldn't be in a mess while driving.
