Bit lengthy… We entered and the place was spotless. We looked to the left and there was a green wall looking like ā€œgrass a grow pon di wallā€! It was spectacular. There’s a small area with Jamaican products to the right- bulla, bread, busta, tamarind, etc. To the left - the cooler was stocked with a variety of juices & drinks. Now straight ahead Was a counter that has the patty warmer to the left of it and I was so glad that I got there in time - because there were 3 beef patties and were ordered 2 along with coco bread. Ok I got to brag about these patties & coco bread. The patty was so flaky and not tough/hard. Everything was portioned properly. The coco bread was soft until the last bite yum yum. We had to discuss this at the table as we ate the last bite. Normally you’ll go somewhere and buy patty & coco bread and one of them end up getting tough and you have to throw something away not here at all; but we were careful to eat EVERYTHING - it gift to the last bite. I was mad that the patty was flaky šŸ˜‚ I did not want anything to fall. It was that scrumptious. Ok let’s get to the star of the show. The jerk chicken was the true ting! It was smoky not overly but smoky enough to taste the seasoning and enjoy the chicken bite for bite. The rice was fresh. It didn’t taste like it was frozen then reheated. The plantain was sweet and nice. Listen I am writing and still eating. I couldn’t eat it all at the table so I took it home and decided to enjoy it the following day. I can’t want to return. Please support!!! Dem food nice, fresh and di place clean. SUPPORT! SUPPORT! SUPPORT!

I wanna start by saying this place has good atmosphere good energy when you walk in and you look at the menu the menu is overpriced. I ordered them jerk, chicken wings, and I’m oxtails. It came to 40 something dollars my girlfriend ordered a plate of oxtail with the sides total came to 70 something dollars And the food was trash. The chicken wings was undercooked. The oxtails had too much sugar in it. the cabbage didn’t have no seasoning. The best thing on the menu that they have is rice don’t put no oxtail gravy or nothing on that rice but the customer service Was very good in there

I went to De Irie Jamaican Spot Restaurant today and had their oxtail. It was fall-off-the-bone tender and the gravy was rich and flavorful. The rice and peas were the perfect side, and the plantains were sweet. The service was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was nice. The price was decent. I'll definitely be back to try them again.

I was extremely hungry but didn't have a taste for anything specific. I just moved to the area in June but haven't eaten out a lot....trying to save money. I googled Jamaican food near me and this place popped up so I went. It was very clean and the cashier was a sweet young lady. She complimented the length of my natural nails as I ordered the brown stewed chicken. She showed me my togo plate when it was ready and asked if I had enough gravy, after getting a little more. The portion of chicken, rice and peas and cabbage was well worth the price! I drove back home and was excited to eat. Baby, everything was absolutely delicious!! I think I ate too much but I couldn't stop eating...lol! You got a customer for life because I could tell they cook with love and fresh ingredients! No pics but maybe next time. See you...

I had the pleasure of stopping by this place today. I've been driving to metropolitan from Dville just to get some good authentic Jamaican food. I didn't feel like the driving that far today, so I pulled this spot up. Very clean establishment. The lady at the register was super nice, friendly, and inviting. I'm a curry chicken type of guy, and my taste Buds know exactly what it needs to taste like. It was amazing, to say the least. I will never drive to metropolitan again for curry chicken. I am thoroughly impressed with this place. Here is a picture of the food after I started eating. I had no intention of leaving a review. However, someone else may be taking a long trip for some good Jamaican food and its some right here in...
