Sarku Japan — Restaurant in Douglasville

This review is not about the food 😒. The food is delicious, but this last time a Hispanic girl took my order and while she reviewed the order with me, she definitely incorrectly overcharged me for an additional meal. Now I'm a reasonable person, I make mistakes, that's not a problem, but she proceeded to be rude and talk to me without listening to my issue, then tried to dismiss me. At that point I was irrate. Would not stand for her to think it was any way acceptable to talk over me as the customer not let me get a word in when she had made the mistake of over charging me. Were it not for the cook and the owner calming me down I would have gotten every penny back. But they were very accommodating and kind. Very hospitable and very professional and caring. So while my day was a one star I have to give the place 4 stars off shear effort and kindness from the Cook #1 and the Manager#2. That leads me to an overall 3 stars. That young lady needs to learn to be quiet and listen to the customer to find out the issue, I know I was right because she verified the order as 3 meals but charged me for 4, I almost thought she might be trying to over charge me purposely with a plan to steal money from me and the...

I have NEVER had a bad experience at this place. Not with service nor with the food. I always get the teriyaki chicken with extra chicken on top of white rice. The last time I ate here, which was about 1 yr ago, my bf got his with noodles instead of rice and a guy right after us got his with noodles as well, but with the side of steamed veggies mixed in with the noodles. I tried my bf noodles, and it was so good, and I only imagined how it would have been with the veggies stir-fried in with it. So this time, 1 year later, I got the chicken teriyaki, with extra chicken on topped of noodles with the steamed veggies mixed in instead of on the side, and when I tell you that it was SO good, it was SO GOOD!!. The cook had a slight heavy hand on the portions of noodles and veggies which led to me having a generous portion of it, with no complaints what so ever on my end. Lol. Everything was cooked perfectly, and it took me 15 mins to get home , so I can eat it, and it was still piping hot!. Whenever I get the craving for tender teriyaki chicken that's delicious, Sarku Japan has never disappointed me. 😀 oh, I also got an egg roll..good flavor just wished it...

I went to this place. I paid my money. The cook skipped over me and did everybody else's order. Why I sat down and wait. I had no idea that I needed to stand there and watch them cook my food and tell them what I wanted. But I'll let him know that I was sitting on the side. I had to go up to him twice to tell him that I will needed my food that he had skipped me. He then did my food for me. Afterwards I told him when there was no customer standing around what he had done to and I didn't appreciate it. He told me to go sit down and eat my food. He didn't want to hear me talk.

Terrible place don't go there. The food is not that great anyway, the cabbage is dry. The sharp tempora is dry and the sushi is not good. I didn't want to cause a scene so I just left. So sad to see how these people are working in these places and have no respect for their customers. I will never go back. Beware. Don't go very unprofessional.
