Bill Mack's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Dover Township

I have tried this establishment once. Service was horrible.but I love supporting local businesses. So I tried again. Walk in. 3 lady’s were standing by the grill. I walk in. They acted like they don’t even see me. If they would have just said. Hello, sorry I will be right with you. That would have been a nice greeting. Instead I felt like a bother.still. No greeting. When the lady asked what I wanted. I asked for a flavor. They didn’t have it. I had my granddaughter with me. She is three. When I said they didn’t have that. I started to name other flavors she would like. The lady (in a sturn vice: we have Carmel blah blah, roacky road, ext. I was already explaining flavors she might like. I had to ask her to stop. And then I asked for a small bowl of ice cream and a large bowl of ice cream. Both orders were EXACT. Thought that would be an easy order to remember. NOPE. Wait a min. Wait a min. Soo you want a small with sprinkles. Had to repeat several times. Then she finishes. one large. They lady was like wait a min wait a min. I had to slowly repeat one order at a time. Then it took her about 10 min to ring us up. for a small cup of ice cream and a large cup of ice cream with sprinkles cost over $8.00. I can pay the same same price at a chain ice cream stores, get what I want and have a cheerful, mostly teens, positive person greet me and asked if I needed anything else, AND WITH A SMILE.

SERVICE AND FOOD go hand in hand. Definitely will never go...

I was there at 3:00 today. One cashier fixed her hair while waiting on a milkshake to mix. Never washed her hands. The other cashier's are taking money, then grabbing cones, trying to cover the cone with napkins, not successfully, then scooping icecream, and then handling dirty money. Never once in 10 minutes did I see the sink or gloves used to wash hands or try and not spread yuk to the cones. You need to have one person handling money or disposable gloves when handling the cones we eat. NEVER should they fix their ponytails around food and not wash hands. I was totally grossed out. I will visit one more time to see if improvements are made, if not,...

One year ago we went here and it was awful, but i figured it was sunday afternoon and its so close to where we live we figured wed give it another chance. The carpet was fixed but the course itself was gross looking. The water wasn't even running. It was disappointing to see. Some blue color and actually running the course would be nice. Not someone's trash. This was a Sunday afternoon too. 22 dollars wasted. There's a really amazing course in carlisle at the sports emporium. You guys should take tips from them, they're course and water is actually lovely to look at. We didn't wanna just hurry up and leave at that place but at...
