There are a ton of people on here saying that the service is terrible, the employees are rude, and the food is awful. While its all completely true, it doesn't have to be a bad thing. I like to use this particular Taco Bell to get some much needed "me time". Whenever life gets too hectic and I need to just get away from it all, I jump in my car and head for the drive-thru. The next 30-45 minutes that I spend like a caged animal in their expertly designed, escape-proof drive-thru is all about me. There's so much you can do! Put together the perfect playlist, browse Tinder, clean out your car, take a nap, catch up on your email, call your mom, plan an entire wedding down to the last detail on Pinterest, write a book, knit a blanket for your king size bed, text your ex and tell them how much you miss them, read the entire works of Shakespeare, become fluent in a foreign language, earn your master's degree, solve world hunger, or just simply contemplate all of the life decisions that have lead to thinking that sitting in a drive-thru for almost an hour for a taco was a good idea. And don't worry, in an hour or two you'll have all the time in the world to finish whatever you didn't get done in the drive-thru while you're sitting in the bathroom. Bonus! Think of it as a cleanse. Speaking of the food, I like the way they serve it. You don't have to worry about burning your tongue when the food is already cold! Forgot to order your taco with all of the toppings on the side? No problem! They made it with everything completely outside of the shell already! I love DIY projects! Plus, the deconstructed look is super trendy right now. Ever had a taco so smashed up that you had to eat it with a fork? You will! And while you're scraping the remnants of your humiliated taco off of the paper wrapper, you have more time to look back on those life decisions again. More "me time"? Double bonus! As far as the staff goes, I like that they keep my ego in check. I know that no matter how far I go in life, they'll still treat me like I don't matter at all. Way to keep it real! Deep down I'm an anxiety filled human dumpster fire and they know it. So intuitive! And you can say that you're never coming to this location ever again, but you'll be back. Like a hungover person swearing that they'll never touch a drop of alcohol as long as they live, knowing damn well that they're going to be white girl wasted next weekend, you'll be back. Sure, you can go to the Taco Bell a couple of blocks away a 75th and Cass, but what do they have? Fast service, fresh food, and friendly employees? No thank you! The Taco Bell at 75th and Lemont is like that ex that you know is trash, but you keep hooking up with anyway, and I look forward to my next...
Read moreTook them 20 min to prep the order, had me come thru drive-thru twice as can't prep the food ,did my order wrong, charge me $5 for a single taco by saying we only add what you asked, when asked to charge correctly, misbehaved by saying I am lying, "$5" for a "single softshell taco" that also with no meat no veggies just beans, sour cream, cheese, the answer I got was, it is owned by different company and our charges are more, when asked for manager, manager never came to window, after all this, when brought food home, can't even trust to have my kids eat this food as the way it looked like, who knows what they added after all the talk, thru it in garbage. I am never going back to get the food here. Just a guidelines to you Mr/Ms Manager get your employee some training (before someone sends the food from this location to health department)and some manners, plus you also need to get some training how to hire employees and make sure to have them finish training, as you can't just hire anyone in a customer facing position and just put them to prepare food. Looking at the food you won't even feel like eating yourself leave giving it your kids, the way it was prepared and packed, if not you can go and get some training from store on 75th and cass, their food always looks fresh, crisp and nicely packed, plus their employees are polite and nice. When told the person taking order that can't see the order on screen, She told me that my order was big so won't show up on screen, and when told the lady at drive-thru that you told me that my order was not showing up and I was told that a long order, lady told me I was lying, how can an order of 1 craving box, 2 soft tacos, 2 Fiesta potatoes can be big"who is lying here". I hope there was an option to take pictures that I can post to show how nasty the food looked like and the charges they put for 2 soft shell tacos. I really feel like sending this food to health department for examining. I can see why most of the reviews for this location 1 or 2 stars. With my long experience in running retail regions for corporate, district supervisor need to replace the management team and employees at this location if they really want some good reviews and profits. As in options it asks me what I will recommend at this location all I will say is if you want to enjoy your food at taco bell in future, never buy food from this location, as I lost my appetite after buying food from here. It's funny which taco bell charges $5 for a single taco with no meat, no veggies, just beans, nacho cheese and sour cream. I know we are in recession but not that much that a taco from tacobell costs us $5. I wanted to give them negative 5 stars. But you can't even write a review without giving...
Read moreI have honestly tried giving this location so many chances and I have finally reached a point to say "I'm Done!"
Drive thru is a joke. they will have you sitting at the speaker waiting for 5+ mins before taking your order even when there is NO ONE ELSE in the drive-thru. Then once you finally place your order you have to wait additional 5-10 mins for them to MAKE the order. I thought this was due to low staff only to find out its not because I had to go back to one location because I forgot to get my drink.. Walked inside and whole crew of people were there...Then there are times you pull into the drive thru and NO ONE answers or responds.. Like the location is closed.. front door is locked and everything but no signs or anything indicating they are closed.
Due to this I started using the mobile app... and for a few orders it was good. Place my order app lets me know when the order is being made and I head to the location and its ready and waiting by the time I'm there... However this was short lived dream. The last two times when I showed up not only was the food NOT ready they haven't even started making it yet... How do I know you might ask? because there was NO ONE in drive-thru or inside and the entire crew was just sitting around talking... Today was the last straw though.. its lunch time so I expect some delay do to busy lunch rush. However I waited inside the store for 20 mins as a watch car after car pull into empty drive-thru place order and get food while I sat and waited in the lobby! Again an Entire crew 8 people working and they can't even handle an empty drive-thru or one mobile..
This not even mentioning inconsistency with the quality of food either... real nice to wait 20 mins for food only for the order to be messed up or was skimping on their fake a** meat. when a taco barely has any meat in it, why even bother putting in any at all? just make lettuce and cheese taco.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this location at all cost... looks like most already have because I rarely see anyone go to this location during lunch there is never a line in their drive thru.
EDIT: Made this review when I just got back from TB.. before opening the bag and finding piece of paper with contact info of what I assume to be store manager or GM... lol you know its bad when they have to print out sheets of paper to try and keep people from reporting them to corporate or writing...
