I have never in my life walked out of a restaurant until today. Ive been going to this Subway for 5 years. Recently the employees all changed and possibly ownership as well. Since the chance the service has been poor and orders have been messed up. Today I walked in, only person in there. The employee or owner was sitting in a chair on a speaker phone out of uniform. She did not say hello. She stood up taking her time while talking on the phone, still. She walked around and stood in the office part. Still no hello. Still talking on the phone. She then placed the phone down, still talking, and put her uniform on and did up her hair. Still talking on the phone. At least a minute of two passed where she had the oppotunity to greet me or hang up her phone. I turned and walked out. She screamed and tried to get me to come. No chance. Read moreI have tried to give this Subway location a chance after chance and thought “maybe” next time my sandwich will be good…nope…if there is anything you can expect from this establishment, it’s a terribly prepared sandwich EACH time. What upsets me most is I use the mobile ordering feature to see what deals I can get and come to pick up. They continually forget to add cheese, make a salad out of your sandwich, if they toasted it or not is questionable and it’s just not the quality Subway stands behind. Don’t get me wrong I’m not expecting some picture perfect sandwich like on the commercials but I do expect better quality and service. The photo below is “supposed to be” an All American. This is supposed to be one of their best sandwiches…A waste of $20+. I am never supporting this location again and have decided to change my new sandwich spot completely to Jersey Mikes. Read moreMy sandwich was pleasant, but I felt extremely guilty ordering it, the lady at the counter seemed like she was angry with me. Which frankly could have been my fault, I get quite anxious and was likely taking too long. But it was fairly empty, so there wasn't any need to rush. I don't know if anyone who works there reads these, but I'm sorry if I upset you ma'am. It was not my intent.
A lot of the folks who work there seem miserable- and that's not their fault. Subway please pay your employees enough so that they aren't too stressed out to care. I genuinely enjoy a subway sandwich now and again, it's one of the few fast food options I can actually afford, but the quality of the food and care toward your staff have fallen to the wayside.
