Okay, let me start by saying I went to the drive-thru of Del Taco at 1am in the morning. I've been to fast food restaurants at night time and even during the day sometimes the people working the night shift are either sleepy or they simply sound as if they don't Want to be there....well it wasn't the case with this gentleman at Del Taco. We didn't know exactly what we wanted we don't usually frequent Del Taco so we don't really know their menu by heart, so we took our time trying to decide...let me tell you from the moment we pull in the drive-thru the guy taking our order was sooo energetic and kind. He gave us recommendations, he was funny, polite and overall really a professional to the point that even my 10yr old son said "This man is my favorite fast food worker I've ever met, can we come again?" We had the best customer experience at 1am from Del Taco all thanks to the gentleman who was working the night shift. We recommend this location, specially if you want to get good quality food as well as an outstanding...
Read moreOrdered in drive thru. Payed with apple pay and didn't receive the receipt. Immediately after getting our drinks, we were told to park out in front for our order. After a couple minutes of waiting in the parking. Our order was taken to us. We drove home. Opened our bags only to find a meal missing. When contacted the store, the manager answered and became defensive after being told our order was incomplete. I asked for that to be refunded she said she couldn't and we could drive back. Asked to speak with a manager she claimed she was the one. I explained to her I couldn't go back she said there was nothing she could do. I was obviously bothered and she continued to escalate the situation by saying oh my g*d and you're so rude. I asked for the managers information and she hung up. Read moreSo today I wanted to take advantage of an offer for snack Tacos advertised on the radio, so I went to my nearest del Taco and ordered the tacos and they were going to charge me full price because it had to be on the app but nobody said it had to be on the app because it was also advertised on the window out front. Instead I Ended up ordering the Tacos Tuesday and I was overcharged 2.00 because I asked for half of the order to be soft shell . Although they admitted they made the mistake, it held up the orders. Always a terrible experience at this Downey location. They need a new management. Always check your receipt , and don't let them get away with your money !
