A girlfriend and I were craving Chinese food and I needed to go pick up my car not far from this restaurant. It came highly recommended and the photos of the food looked quite delicious. We shared Orange Chicken, Chicken Chow Fun and string beans. The food is five stars.. the service is no stars. But I wanted to be fair hence why I gave this place two stars. We sat down and were given our menus. We were looking at the menu when a man came to ask us if we were ready. We were not, so I asked him to come back. Not even one minute later, a lady comes out to ask what we want. We placed our order.. for the most part. We decided to add the string beans after we received the first two items(since we felt so rushed earlier on). We were in the middle of eating, I stepped away to use the ladies restroom and when I returned to my table my friend said the waitress wants us to pay. It was 9:30p and online via Google it states they close at 10pm. The woman ignored my friend when she asked her about the 10p closure. I continued to eat what was on my plate and the two Chinese ladies who work there, began speaking rather loudly in their language. It was very rude, because they sounded like they were talking about us. We asked for to go containers and as my friend was putting her food in the container the man who worked there started to take her plate away... while she was still using it. Very, very rude!!! No patience whatsoever. I was upset to say the least. We are paying customers who came to eat..we would have been finished by 10p. We were not trying to stay longer than the time they are up until. But to close shop early just because and then rush out paying customers in the middle of eating is rude. It sucks because the food is really so damn good but I refuse to spend my hard earned money at an establishment that doesn't treat paying customers...
Read moreThe Southeast part of LA doesn't have a great variety of authentic Chinese restaurants but this is really close. They have the elusive Beef Big Rice Noodles dish which I've only seen at one other location it's basically a wide, rice noodle with beef. To a American or Hispanic palate it's probably bland or no flavor but if you add a little Thai chicken sauce (sweet and spicy) or some type of hot sauce it's a great dish. The only warning I would give you is that it's oily so gall bladders beware. The orange chicken is crispy, the house chow main (house means they throw all the meats in there) is great. The house fried rice is okay. Their Kung Pao is spicy and it does tell you that on the menu it's spicy so for some it might be too spicy. The Kung Pao though does not have your standard presentation of pale chicken pieces with vegetables, everything is cooked together with the peanuts and everything so it all turns out colored with the soy sauce and other ingredients but that also makes difficult to separate what you. They also use chestnuts in the Kung Pao another non traditional ingredient but it gives it a nice unexpected crunch. Their Thai tea with Boba passes. The gyōza/pot stickers are pan fried and not regular fried so they are softer and not crispy which I'm fine with! I've been here twice and I do like a lot. They answered my phone call and took my order over the phone and they asked for my phone number. Some places get a little uneasy with phone orders, so I do appreciate that they still do that. I forgot what else I ordered when I went there but I'm sure I'll take pictures...

The warm and inviting atmosphere, paired with exceptional customer service, makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. We opted for the family meals, which allow you to customize your order based on group size, with flexible options for each dish. You can even adjust the spice level or swap ingredients, like we did by changing one chow mein to a veggie version instead of beef.
Every detail was carefully attended to, from the food’s delivery to the impeccable service, and most importantly, the taste.
