Mid City Inn and Suites — Hotel in Pico Rivera

Booked a room for 7 nights. The day we got into the room the ac wasn't working well. It was barely blowing and it was really hot in the room. They had to give us a fan for us to be able to sleep there until we could be moved to a room with working ac the next morning. The second room had ants EVERYWHERE … all over the floors, tables and bathrooms.went to management about this and to get a refund and she tried to say ants only come out when food is being left out. I explained to her that no food was left out. I took a video of the ants crawling around and showed her. Then when we called back to get the refund they said they would give me ,the lady said i exaggerated and there were “only about 5 ants” in the room. Which was not the case. I do not recommend going to this place we asked for non-smoking room when we got to our non-smoking room there was burn marks on the covers from what looked to be a cigarette the smoke alarm was not in it was disconnected the room was not clean I feel that I could have gotten covid from that room I didn't even want to lay down I stripped the blankets and sheets off the bed and laid with the one blanket that I brought for my road trip the elevator does not work and whoever was upstairs from me walked with a heavy foot I really think that they had people living there not just renting a room for the weekend I do not recommend this place keep going just because it's affordable does it mean it's a good place to stay do not stay here spend the 50 more dollars and stay in a...

We stayed here for our trip to Disneyland and Univseral. Overall, an OK experience. The room was VERY nice, and I appreciated that they kept it so clean each day! Polite and courteous staff. My only beef was that they placed us next to the vending and ice machines, which people used at ALL hours of the night, repeatedly waking us up. Also, the walls are somewhat thin. You can hear people beside and underneath you arguing, and kids screaming and laughing, which I suppose makes sense since their plan was likely to also budget for lodging for Disney and Universal, but when it gets to 2 or 3a.m and they're STILL going... yeah.
