Movita Juice Bar — Restaurant in Downey

So this is awkward - have had a love/hate relationship with this place however today was on another level. My criticism as always been I’ve paid for extra toppings and for lack of a better word those requests were not honored. I’ve tipped nearly every time yet sometimes they do it sometimes they don’t. Lately they haven’t so on my most resent order I asked them to please honor the request. I get there today and the employee flags me that they spoke to corporate to show me what regular and extra is - LMAO wow… okay. Just going to say it was uncomfortable and awkward but I’m used to these kinds of interactions daily at work so nothing out of the ordinary. Thought it was funny but really unnecessary - also going to say this - I’ve been contacted by representatives after my reviews who promised to fix things even offering credits and nothing has every happened, they never honored their word. Imagine a business feuding with a paying customer because they aren’t honoring “extra” toppings when the customer pays for them. What a joke.

Edit - it’s not the costs of times or add ons that’s the issue it’s literally you tired to fat/body shame me when I picked up my order LMAO, seriously don’t offer options to add-on extras to your items if you’re going to not honor that or make suggestive comments to your customers when they aren’t satisfied they didn’t get what...

Why, why, why would they give up the food!! I can’t believe it, this place used to be fantastic for a healthy meal. You could get your smoothie or juice and a nice hot sandwich that was just so fresh and juicy.

I’m so sad. This place is fresh and has quality foods. You can easily buy healthy snacks for cheap but their warm food is fantastic. The chicken panini was just too good, with its fresh vegetables, avocado, cheese, etc. Each food item comes with a fruit cup and some side peppers, both of which add to the meal. Their value meal is probably the best of all. You can get a fresh juice of your choice and a meal of your choice for a good price, considering the quality of the ingredients. You can bet you will be taking something home because of how much you get. Their ginger shots are fairly spicy (go figure) but I would recommend them as they are really good for you. Happy hour currently 3-6pm M-F so get them often! They also had wheat grass, which I will try next time. Their smoothies were the real deal, though I didn't try one this time (a meal is filling!) but will definitely do...

I love this place it taste amazing only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because on my last 2 Uber Eats deliveries I feel you guys have been stingy with the fruit. I can feel the weight difference when I pick up my bowl. Please don’t skimp me out on fruit or you will force me to take my business elsewhere. My name is Albert on Uber Eats I just ordered right now and although it taste delicious it was very noticeable that you barely gave me any fruit. I don’t appreciate that and I hope you can come up with a fair standard of how much fruit you put in bowls for your customers everytime they purchase one it should be as consistent as possible and a fair amount of fruit.
