So, I'll start off by saying I have loved Kneaders since I first moved to Utah. I've moreso been a huge fan of their French toast, but I'm always looking for a great lunch spot close to work. The soup selection is great, and I generally feel they have some of the best soup. Their sandwiches are typically pretty good, but sometimes I feel the bread is too thick... When it comes down to it, I think ticket might be $2-$3 more than I feel it is worth, but I do like it. On this trip, I arrived at the perfect time, because I had no one in front of me in line. The place was cleaned up very well, And I appreciated that they had some tables closed, to help with social distancing. For my lunch, I ordered "FAMOUS Turkey Bacon Avocado" and I really liked how great it tasted, and the avocado was very fresh. For my soup, I went with the, "KICKIN' CORN CHOWDER" ... It was pretty good, but I guess it wasn't as good as I remembered from the past. (I'll stick with chicken noodle next time) The soda fountain was having issues, any ice maker was closed during my visit... The soda that I tried, was warm, but I don't mind too much, because I really shouldn't be drinking soda anyways. Haha! All in all, a pretty great place... A little overpriced, and the bread I'm not the biggest fan of, but it really is a place I don't mind visiting. (If I haven't mentioned before, the customer service was top notch)

Waited for 15 mins in line during lunch hour while the cashier took holiday orders for the two people in front of me, many cars passed through the drive through during this time. Then finally a second cashier shows up and takes my order as the line had grown to reach the door. Never seen a sandwich with less meat on it, downright pathetic. Then the whole time I’m eating some young guys working there’s running around the dinning area almost running into people and not saying excuse me or anything, and he’s loudly talking or singing to himself. I wish I’d walked out before ordering. I love their food usually, I’ve eaten here before and it was better. I got bread and cheese with barely 2 thin slices of meat for $9, poor value.

It is your typical sandwich, salad and soup place. Nothing special. The food is good the pastries are good. Sometimes we come here and get a dessert but it is a typical bakery. Although I do have to say I come here and get their cinnamon swirl loaf and make French toast every general conference for my family. It is our family tradition. Lots of people love love Kneaders, my husband just isn’t a sandwich guy. So we never come here and if I do it is with my friends who want to meet for lunch. The service is great. I have never tried the drive thru though. I haven’t really had anything I don’t like or that was terrible. Give it a try you might love it more than I.

UPDATE JULY 2019: I've visited 3 times in the last 6 months and the past 3 experiences were much better. While I still can't figure out why the french toast here is sometimes soft and sometimes nearly toothbreaking, they've definitely improved, so I'm upping my previous score from 1 star to 3. The rest of this is my original 1-star review.

The Draper Kneaders is consistently the worst franchise of any food chain I've ever witnessed. It's not Kneaders' fault - it's this location specifically. If you go expecting the quality of any other Kneaders, you will be sorely disappointed. If this location is your only option, expect McDonald's quality food with Ruth's Chris prices and the service of the DMV. Actually, that may not be fair to the DMV, which has chairs for you to sit in while you wait for your turn to receive horrible service.

Any other Kneaders has French Toast that is fresh and hot, and there's plenty of it. We have waited 45 minutes for our French Toast in Draper on 3 separate occasions (and it was chewy - like we got the piece of the French Toast with the grissle in it?). Everywhere else the salads are plentiful and delicious. This location gives about half the portion and it often tastes like there is soil on the lettuce (not an exaggeration - it is a testament to other Kneaders locations that I ever went back after biting into a salad and tasting dirt). Other locations have fresh pastries. This one does too, about 50% of the time. Otherwise you get day-old fruit tarts with soggy pastry cups, etc. Other locations get your order right at the drive through. This location owes me at least $10 worth of bread and soup and other items they forgot to give me after they had no problem remembering to charge me.

I have always waited about 6 months between visits to the Draper Kneaders hoping this location would meet the expectations set by Kneaders in South Jordan, but after 4 years, nothing's changed. I will return to this store again if they have a big sign that says "Under New Management." Until then, I will drive right past it and then another 4 miles to get to the South Jordan location when I have a hankering for baked...

Over the last few years this particular Keaders has gone downhill quite a bit. Not just the service, including the wait time in-through the drive-thru. But also poor product quality including often being out of product. Today we pulled up into the drive-thru a little after 11:00 am. We were told to wait please at the speaker/menu. At the speaker alone we waited more than 10 minutes for any type of check-in or apology for the long wait. By the time we ordered food, (out of the item that we had gone there to get) and got our turn at the window we again sat without any interaction from the drive thru employee. When she gave us our one sandwich (BLT on Sourdough) There was no apology, customer service or acknowledgement of the poor service. As we exited it had been over 30 minutes since we arrived in the drive thru. We would have exited if we had been able but there is not an option once you enter. When we opened our food it was quite disappointing. It typically in the past had come with a small side salad. The bread and sandwich was small and only had one small slice of tomato on half of it. This came to more than $12.00 (incl. tax). This is the third time we've had a negative experience and won't be coming back to this location. They need to work supporting employees so that the turnover and customer/quality care is better. The price point for what I paid did not match what I received. If you are aware of busy service times look at staffing...

I have never left a review for anything online but was so upset with my experience at this location that I wanted to warn others. If I could rate this location 0 stars, I would. I ordered a chicken caesar salad in the drive-thru but did not open the container until I arrived at work (so I was not able to take it back). The "chicken caesar salad" had literally 4 tiny pieces of chicken on it. I have never paid $8 for a container full of lettuce and am extremely unimpressed. So much for a "gourmet salad". I called to inform them/ complain and was told by the girl on the phone that corporate was at the store that day and watching the portions they were serving and that what I received is what they expect their employees to serve to all customers and to expect that amount of chicken on my salad if I were to order it again. She did offer for me to come back in for a free salad but considering she offered that after she told me to expect basically the same portions/ experience, why would I come back in? I don’t care if it’s free. I can buy lettuce at the grocery store (which is basically what I would get) for less than the gas I would waste to drive back there. I usually go to the South Jordan location and have NEVER had an experience like this. Their portions are perfect and I always get what I pay for. I will NEVER go back to this location and will be sure to tell all of my friends about how terrible the customer service, management,...
