Service is terrible. Just embarrassing. My wife and I purchased a Groupon, worth $25.00 worth of food at NY Pizza Patrol. We have had absolutely wonderful experiences associated with all of our Groupon purchases, up until today. We had called our order in 20 minutes prior to pickup, talked to a representative from NY Pizza Patrol, and the representative had mentioned we could use the Groupon towards their family meal deal. Great! It came with 2 pizzas, garlic knots, and a dessert. Sounds like a great deal. We were pumped. My wife goes to pick up the food, then resulting in a representative telling us they don't accept the Groupon towards family deals. He wants to charge us $40 plus dollars to get our food. I get on the phone with said representative, I tell him this is absolutely unprofessionally unacceptable. He tells me he is a new manager, and that he can't be giving out these type of deals, regardless of the previous employee telling me the exact opposite. After 10 minutes of argument, he seems to give in and gives my wife the phone and walks away, later noticing he actually still billed us $5 more dollars than previously agreed upon... Whatever, no big deal, lets be done with this situation, and just erase it from our memory.
Come to find out, they shorted us, completely, a large signature pizza. Then, resulting in myself calling back flabbergasted at the situation. The representative admits fault, and begins to tell me that people make mistakes. I say understandable, please just refund me the money for the missed pie. She says it's actually against their "code" to refund back anything within $10.00. She says it's just not worth it to the people that made the pizza to have to refund the money back, whatever that means. I still don't know. Long story short, I never got a refund, and have wasted valuable time arguing with someone who should have just eaten the cost difference....

Review: My recent visit to New York Pizza left me thoroughly disappointed. As a pizza enthusiast, I had high hopes for this establishment, but unfortunately, it fell short in multiple aspects.
First and foremost, the quality of the pizza was subpar. The crust lacked the authentic New York-style chewiness I was expecting, and the overall taste was bland and underwhelming. The toppings seemed sparse and lacked the freshness and flavor that are crucial for a satisfying pizza experience.
Moreover, the service was incredibly slow and disorganized. Despite there being only a few customers, it took an unreasonably long time for our orders to be taken and even longer for the food to arrive. The staff seemed indifferent and inattentive, which only added to the frustration.
Another disappointment was the atmosphere of the place. The interior was poorly maintained, with worn-out furniture and an overall lack of cleanliness. It did not create a welcoming or pleasant environment to enjoy a meal.
To make matters worse, the prices at New York Pizza were unjustifiably high for the quality of food and service provided. It felt like a complete rip-off, considering the underwhelming experience and the value offered.
Overall, I cannot recommend New York Pizza based on my experience. There are far better pizza establishments in the area that offer superior quality, attentive service, and a more enjoyable dining atmosphere. I suggest exploring other options for an authentic and satisfying pizza experience...
Read moreAbout 2 weeks ago, my wife and I decided to order take out from New York Pizza Patrol. We had just moved to the area, and were scouting out local eateries that might be good. We ordered over the phone, and had a medium (12 inch diameter) chicken club pizza (Mozzarella cheese with chicken, smoked bacon and diced tomatoes then drizzled with ranch dressing), and a side of fried zucchini. In total, this came to roughly 16 dollars. Thats a little more than we would usually spend, but we withheld our judgment until we tasted it. Who knew, it might be really good, right?
I went to pick up the pizza about 20 minutes later. Despite being busy that night, the customer service was excellent. No complaints there). When we saw the pizza, we were underwhelmed with how many toppings there were. The Mozzarella cheese didn't go far enough to the edge of the pie, and the chicken and other toppings were sparse. That being said, the pizza, the sauce in particular, was pretty good. We were just expecting a bit more considering the price.
We were also underwhelmed with the fried zucchini (which cost 4 dollars) and only came with 7 or 8 slices of about 3/4 of an inch thick each. It was ok, but I've had better fried zucchini (shivers on 3300 S has better fried zucchini for much cheaper, but its too darn far!)
In conclusion, the food here is pretty good, but they just don't give you enough of it. If they did, we would probably go back. But instead, we will be seeking our...
