The Gingerbread Cottage — Restaurant in Draper

We drove by this spot on Monday night, so I made a mental note to return ASAP.

This cute spot is easy to spot off 700 East. There is street parking and also 2-3 spots in the driveway.

It's a home converted, with the kitchen still in place, which is awesome since you can see where it's all made.

They specialize in soft gingerbread. My son picked one of those, and I had to sneak a bite. It was good! We also got a frosted sugar cookie, peanut butter cookie, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. They were all delicious.

The four cookies cost $14, so a little bit spendy. Comparable to Chip, Crave, or Crumbl price wise, for smaller cookies. These are better though, for what that's worth.

If you need some holiday gifts, the living room is like a little gift shop. I didn't have the time to really look at it since I had somewhere to be.

The Gingerbread Cottage is an absolute gem! Summer, the owner, is a true delight, and her warm, welcoming personality shines through in everything she does. The cookies and treats she bakes are nothing short of amazing. They’ve become a tradition for me when I visit family out of state, and without fail, they always ask, “Did you bring the gingerbread cookies?” You can truly taste the difference with her use of natural ingredients — it makes every bite so special.

And it’s not just for people! My dogs absolutely adore the tiny smiley face cookies, which just adds to the charm of this place. The staff is equally wonderful, always greeting you with kindness and making every visit a pleasant experience.

Super cute bakery, and the lady who helped us was very sweet. They had so many cute gingerbread cookie options and more. Everything we got was very high quality and so so good. We will be back soon!
