Janet’s remains one of the better Mediterranean restaurants in the area. Tried dine in and service and food was solid. My GF didn’t love the beef because of the texture, which I understand was a bit off but chicken and lule kabob were on point.
Platter for two was more than enough for us and had leftovers for the next day too. Great deal for about $35. Will be back for sure. ——- A hit and miss my last few trips, but this time they nailed it and it was a delivery order which was surprising. Last time the meat was over cooked and dry. I also waited forever for my food and I even called ahead. This time I tried delivery and was such a different experience.
Food was packed well and cooked perfectly. Salad was fresh and tasty. Hummus delicious. And pita fresh and warm. Rice was not my fave, but tasty. Just prefer the buttery Persian version at some other places. It did taste good, just not the style I prefer. The chicken and beef kebabs were top notch though. Very well cooked and seasoned. Definitely enough for two people to share. The garlic sauce wasn’t my fave either, but not usually something I eat a lot of anyway. GF was disappointed though.
All in all, an order I would place again. A little more consistency and an improvement here and there will kick it up to 5 stars, but a solid 4...

I recently had the pleasure of ordering takeout at Janets, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience.
The menu offered a wide array of authentic Mediterranean dishes that left me spoilt for choice. I started with their flavorful hummus and freshly baked pita bread, which was a perfect combination of creamy and savory. The variety of appetizers, including stuffed grape leaves and crispy falafel, showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and traditional flavors.
For the main course, I indulged in their mouthwatering grilled chicken kebab, a la cart, accompanied by a generous portion of fragrant saffron rice and a side of vibrant, crisp salad. The chicken was tender and bursting with aromatic spices, perfectly grilled to perfection. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors that satisfied my taste buds.
The service at Janet's is impeccable.Overall, Janet's exceeded my expectations with their delightful cuisine, exceptional service, and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're a fan of Mediterranean food or seeking to explore new flavors, I highly recommend visiting this culinary gem.

Read moreThis place used to be our go to mediterranean restaurant, we didn't mind the price that seems like it's going up everytime we go there. Like the other day I placed an order online for pickup and guess what? they now charge $2 for service fee. Two dollars just for placing an order? It's probably not a lot to some, but it could already be a meal for someone else.
They must have changed their cook/chef recently, their food used to be really really really good, from the pita bread to the salad, to the rice and the hummus, and of course the meats. But now, the pita bread is just too flat and kinda hard and chewy, the hummus is bland and almost watery. The side salad also is now tasteless to say the least. And the meat, for the first time ever, we had left overs, luckily our dog didn't mind the smell of the meats that it didn't used to have before. It seemed like the meats were not marinated or cooked properly. I could probably understand if it was just one of the meat that was not good, but both the beef and the lamb were smelly. And of course it tasted like it smelled.
We used to recommend this place to all of our friends, we even bring this food to parties, but sadly, we will be retracting those...
