La Michoacana Superior — Restaurant in Duarte

My Nephew & Niece said this place is the BEST!

We stoped by today for the soft opening of La Michoaca Ice Cream and what a great business opening up in the area. For being a rainy day this place was jam packed, which only means one thing... Ice Cream must be Gooood!

As we waited in line we were welcomed and greeted by the awesome staff. Wait time was not bad considering it was a full house, they had the lines moving.

Our Order was:

-One Banana Split with your choice of ice cream and toppings. We chose 2 scoops of Oreo ice cream and one scoop of the fruity pebble ice cream along with traditional toppings (Chocolate syrup, whipped cream, & Cherries).

-One Single scoop of Oreo ice cream in a cup.

Both were really delicious, you could taste the quality of the ice cream. The amount per serving was very generous, they definitely don't hold back on that. They have so many delicious options to choose from like Paletas (Ice Cream), Bionicos, Choco bananas, and so much more!

I seriously can't wait for the summer days to come around so I can be here daily getting a fresh drink of Agua Fresca!

Located in a plaza with tons of...

Extremely disappointed with the Manzana Loca. They decided to FREEZE the apple instead of refrigerating it. This caused the apple to turn to jelly upon thawing. There is no way around letting it thaw as its way too cold to bite into and enjoy. I've had this before from another location and it was delicious, but I'm so sad as I was looking forward to this for a few days only to have to throw it all away. It's unedible. What hurt the most is the price paid for nothing! They have significantly raised their prices and its too bad. They should probably take it off the menu if they have to resort to freezing to avoid throwing away...

I absolutely love this place. My favorite place to visit to sooth my tummy after chemotherapy. So delicious. Their customer service has always been outstanding in every single location that I’ve visited. I also love that there are locations throughout the cities that I regularly commute to.
