Tea is on par with most other boba places in the area, although Sharetea has some fun, tasty combinations, like the QQ Happy Family tea, which is the kitchen sink of bubble teas: red bean, pudding, boba, jellies, all in the pool together.
The other difference from other tea places are that its drinks all come in a single large-ish size, which help with both efficiency and their business model. You can customize on sweetness level and ice as well, now a bubble tea shop staple at the newer chains.
Ironically, that efficiency is eroded a bit due to a combination of grand opening excitement and a tea-making crew that, while well staffed, is somewhat still on their learning curve as a coordinated team, especially when stress tested by long, out-the-door lines. For us, the boba aficionados and comfort-cravers, that translates into much longer wait times. But the seating area is spacious enough for you to grab a seat while you wait, scroll through your phone, or check out the shop's cool anime statues and action figure display case in the...
Read moreLoved how local the worker was to each customer. It seemed like a regular customer go to spot but there was no AC on a 105 degree weather. It felt very baked inside and if was hard for anyone to sit or stay there long. Idk if it’s their method of avoiding lotters from staying long period of time but not having any AC was brutal for not just the customers but the workers too who has a uniform mandatory. The very last time I was here (which was years ago) had ac open on hot days and allowed customers to sit there comfortably. It seems as tho they just want this shop to be a take out environment or “drive thru - pick up only” type of restaurant
Only ordered a drink here. Their coffee milk tea was pretty solid tho. I’ve visited it awhile back when it wasn’t called Boba X but...

Contemplated about signature milk tea, but decided to get classic brew tea (black tea) with fresh milk. My friend was curious about “XYZ Milk Tea,” turns out it has 6 toppings! Half of the drink was filled with pearls, mini pearls, lychee jelly, grass jelly, pudding and red bean. It’s basically a mini meal lol.
My classic brew tea with fresh milk was okay. It wasn’t bad, but it did not stand out either. Think my friend liked the XYZ Milk Tea. I don’t think it really has changed much from ShareTea. 3.5 stars rounding up to 4. Wouldn’t mind having drinks here, but there are...
