I don't normally leave a review if I don't like a place, but the food here was just terrible and I felt I should warn the community. My husband and I stopped in for lunch both looking for a basic burger. The place is clean, but a bit cramped. The prices were good, so we agreed on the mushroom burger with fries. He ordered his with cheese, I ordered mine as is. One water one soft drink. The server was friendly and attentive. I noticed quickly that my fork was dirty. I know this happens sometimes, and I wasn't planning on using it, but I inspected the other silverware as well. It was clean. I was a bit dismayed when our food arrived. The patty was average size, described on the menu as 1/3lb, and round. Which is normal, but decided abnormal for a large rectangle bread roll. Imagine a McDonald's patty on a subway Sandwich. They easily could have cut the bun in half and made two burgers with it. The meat to bread ratio was way off. It included tomato, lettuce, pickle, and mayo. No onion. The presentation was unimpressive. They forgot the cheese on my husband's burger, so he waited an extra five or so minutes for his cheese. The burger it's self was tasteless. They obviously didn't season the meat. No salt, no pepper. The menu described the burger would be cooked to medium, which is fine for me, but this was clearly cooked to shoe leather. It was dry, thin, tough and flavorless. The fries were also tough. I've never had a tough fry before. My husband speculated they may have been air fried, but their texture was way off. All around terrible. I would suggest if the owners or the cooks don't eat there, they should. And then they should eat else where so they can gauge their competition. We actually chose this place over McDonald's and regretted it. They may have other better options on the menu, but I'll never know.

My son took me to this restaurant Sunday morning for our first time. Not being from Dublin decided to try it out for breakfast. We were the 7th customer since opening that Sunday morning and by the time we finished the placed had very few vacant tables. He ordered an omelet, rye bread and a side of pork sausage; I ordered the eggs benedict with coffee. While waiting for our food I took a sip of the coffee and told my son if the food is like their coffee, it is going to be good. I am accused of being a bit of a coffee snob and nothing turns me off than a poor cup of coffee. The coffee was dark and delicious. Then our food arrived, hot and delicious. The portion were large, enough for two meals, and the food did not disappoint!! Not only was the restaurant clean, but the staff very courteous and attentive checking on not only us, but the other customers as well. AND they kept my coffee flowing!! When you find a gem like Dublin Skillet you want to acknowledge it. Keep the food good, the great staff and that coffee, we will definitely return when in Dublin.

Worst breakfast ever. The place was damn near empty. We order food and get it in 5 mins. I was surpsied at the turn around, I wasnt once I tasted the food. Let's start with the omelettes. The eggs werent even scrambled enough to get rid of the whites. Quick swish pour on skillet and slap on plate, throw in reheated meat, fold over and omellete is done. Tasteless, flavorless food. Also, the omelettes do not come with cheese or onions. They are all add ons for like ~$3 each I think. $18 omelette and not even onions. Thank god they didnt charge for the salt and pepper. Skillet potatoes were a soggy mess. These were 100% precooked and reheated in microwave or thrown on skillet to "warm them up" while eggs and toast were getting done. The hashbrowns had a weird "old oil" smell to them. Coffee is typical restaurant coffee. Nothing more to be said. One star for not screwing up the toast.

My daughter and I totally enjoyed our breakfast Sunday morning at the Copper Skillet. The first thing that struck and put a smile on my face was the owner, immediately the moment I entered the door, greeted me with a smile and a friendly hello. This was despite being very busy at the time. We were seated in a cosy, but still roomy enough booth for two people. We were asked within minutes if we would like anything to drink. And it was brought to us right away. Our waitress, whom by the way was super sweet, followed a few minutes later to take our order. She was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Speaking of the menu, it was a good sized menu, but not so big that you get overwhelmed. Our food was brought to us in less than 10 minutes, piping hot and plentiful. The coffee, we both had decaf due to health concerns, was delicious. Which is surprising because alot of places usually don't brew a good decaf. Our cups were kept warmed as well. We never felt rushed even though it was getting really busy the longer we were there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's family friendly too. And it had the feel to it like you were at a well loved relatives house for breakfast. Definitely...

I've lived in the Tri-valley since 1996, Dublin for about two decades now. Each time I go to the Cooper Skillet, I'm hoping that it's service and food Quality improves, unfortunately it doesn't.

Let's begin with the front end service, well it stinks. They're greeting is not very friendly compared with other professionally trained staff at a hundred other local restaurants.

The cleanliness is gross, busboys and wait staff clearly don't understand the importance of properly wiping a surface. (Smearing customers table droppings around the top, by brushing crumbs off, doesn't mean that it is clean). Using a mild cleaner and more than one towel will ensure that bacteria is limited than there current methods.

The food looks delicious, however there are numerous times that it's either, undercooked, overcooked or just plain cold and or dried out. They cook and mix grease with all the same foods. Hash browns are unfortunately on you plates, whether you ordered them or not. Pancakes usually comes with a foreign food on one side of your meal.

I love the name, but unfortunately it doesn't measure up to your expectations.

I now travel to Black Bear Dinner in...
