Mattress Firm Amador Plaza Road — Hotel in Dublin

I don’t normally write reviews (probably less than 10 since the internet came to be) but I had such an excellent sales experience with Derrick D. as well as Raj and Daniel at this specific Sleep Train store that I felt compelled to write a review on my experience.

First a little background. I live 50 miles from this specific store. As far as I can tell, there are 35 other Sleep Train stores that are closer to me. I happened to stop at this one when I was in the area and was treated wonderfully by Derrick. So much so that I returned three times before purchasing a bed.

When I first walked into the store Derrick came up to me and asked me if he could help me. I told him that I was looking for a bed and that I’ve been looking for quite some time. He asked me a variety of questions and then gave me his suggestions in different prices ranges for what might fit my needs. There was absolutely zero pressure. I tried different beds to see which I would like. I narrowed it down and told him I would have to check with my wife to see which beds she liked and that it may not even be the three I liked. He understood, suggested she try a bunch of beds. Not once did Derrick try to hard sell me. As I left Derrick gave me his contact information, the information on the beds I liked, other considerations for side sleepers (my wife) and back sleepers (me). On my way out, Raj and Daniel (Managers) thanked me for stopping by and suggested that my wife try different beds at closer stores.

Over the next week my wife did get a chance to try different beds and narrowed her choices down to the same ones I had liked. During that week there were various times I had called this specific store with questions on pricing, features, etc. and Raj and Daniel were very helpful (Derrick was on vacation). I also stopped by one more time to see if I still liked the three beds I had selected. Like Derrick, Raj and Daniel were great in answering all my questions and giving me the space I needed to find what I really liked.

Once Derrick returned from vacation, my wife and I went to the store to finalize our choice. We waited for Derrick because of his approach when I first visited the store. He is the kind of person that makes you feel like they truly have your sleep and your best interests in mind. I wish there was a Derrick car sales person, mechanic, attorney, etc. Just a great person to interact with, we need more Derricks in the world.

On the day of our purchase, all three gentlemen were great. They worked together to get all the paperwork done (delivery dates, items to be delivered etc.). It was a great experience.

After our purchase and on day of delivery, I had the opportunity to communicate with Derrick and Raj on some questions I had. They were able to answer my questions. After delivery I once again had a question and called the store. I talked to Daniel and he was great in interacting with me and answering my question. Many times once a sale is done, people treat you differently. Not this group of gentlemen.

I would absolutely drive by 35 Sleep Train stores and 50 miles from home to go visit Derrick, Raj and Daniel at this store for my next purchase. A bed is a major purchase and should not be taken lightly. These gentlemen understand that and that is why I recommend Derrick and...

I can't speak highly enough about the service I received at this Mattress Firm. I know there's three stores in close proximity. THIS IS THE ONE TO GO TO.

I was helping my cousins shop for an adjustable bed frame and dual California king mattresses. They both have specific medical needs, so I spent a lot of time calling furniture and mattress stores in the area to help them. Without a doubt the store manager Ken was the kindest, most compassionate person that I spoke with.

Ken was honest and up front, even encouraging me to check out another larger showroom which had a mattress in stock that he didn't have in his store at the time. I went back to purchase it from Ken because he was so nice and accommodating for my cousins. He was extremely diligent, even going the extra length to call the warehouse and confirm that a linking cable would be included with the delivery of the adjustable base.

I spoke on the phone with him several times in the days leading up to the purchase because I had follow up questions and Ken always remembered my name and patiently explained the differences in beds and mattresses. Can't recommend highly enough to shop at this Mattress Firm.

Also: the store has a clean and very accessible bathroom...

This was easily my most enjoyable sales experience in quite some time. From the beginning to end, Vanessa demonstrated exemplary service. She provided a lot of information without overwhelming me so that I could narrow down my selection to the perfect mattress. She is so personable, charismatic and professional. I never once felt any kind of discomforting pressure because she is such a genuine and gracious individual (who also understands that the product sells itself)!

My interactions with the other staff members were equally pleasant. They each added nothing but positivity to the store's atmosphere. The team definitely supports each other and communicate very well. I always feel that whenever this is evident, you ought to point to the quintessential leader (Vanessa in this case).

As far as the product, I love it, I love it, I love it, I LOVE IT. I have a Gentle Firm Hybrid with the adjustable base and I LOOOOVE IT. I received my product the day of purchase, paid a steal of a price, and slept like I was experiencing...
