Give me a name of a #Pakistani place that continue to maintain its standard even after earning a good name? Impossible for Pakistani restaurants! Usually I prefer to “take away” because #ShalimarRestaurant is not a place to “dine-in” - the moment u enter the place, and u have a feeling of “ghareeb nawaz hotel” - hotel for truck drivers and homeless people in Pakistan. But this time the food turned out horrible too. Usually I order biryani and most of the time get wings or chest piece. So I specifically mentioned this time not to add wings or chest piece. Of course it didn’t work. Not sure if they’re illiterate. I ordered kabab and garlic naan; kabab were missing while those garlic naans were new to me - never saw such big, thick rottays - it was neither a garlic naan nor a sheermal/taftaan. Don’t know what it is. And one last complaint with suggestion: who believes that garam masala like choti ilaichi, bari ilaichi, daar cheeni, black pepper balls bring taste to biryani. If u really think so then u need to visit #IndusBiryani in Karachi, Pakistan. None of this matters in biryani. #ShalimarRestaurant has already increased the prices; it’s time to maintain your standard - the quality...

Such an unbelievable bad and rude and arrogant behavior from the owner of restaurant, in the rain. No courtesy at all. We were traveling from out of state and want to eat somewherehala. We found this halal restaurant Shalimar in Dublin. The website shows its open at 12: 00. We reached there at 11:55. The owner said they opened at 12:30, I said your website shows 12 noon, he said You are wrong, I showed him his website then he said the timing are on the restaurant door. I asked please update your website so people like us traveled from far know the exact timing. He was extremely rude and told me wait otherwise leave, don't care. He showed no courtesy and humbleness, towards people.

Such a great behavior and example to show my children from Muslims, who is showing attitudes and rudness.

My children were honoring my my wish to eat halal and they got this behavior. He could have show gratitude and offers a gratitude and asked us to wait a little, we will be open soon, have a seat. Abd it is raining here heavily, now we left and looking other halal places...

This Restaurant was much better few years back.Bring down my rating from 5 to 1 due to two reasons. During covid everyone is mandated to wear a mask. These guys who are working in kitchen don't wear any mask and the clowns in the front desk wear the mask with one string on the top, leaving the bottom part dangling without have any string attachment. if they happen to cough or sneeze , is it going to stop the spread? There was not consistency in the food like Briyani. Once I got a stale Briyani. when I called to report it, they said to bring it to get a refund and get a free briyani since it was their mistake and I had to travel extra 15 miles just for returning that stale one. When I told can you please provide the free one next time ? they said they will . On the next visit, I asked for the offer , they said since the briyani money is refunded , no free :-) :-) LOL. These guys don't know how to manage their customer and penalize their customer for restaurants mistake. I will not repeat here!! BUY...

For food review you can read my review for the Fremont branch. I had no idea that Shalimar has a new branch here in Dublin but I'm always glad when my favorite restaurants are doing well. They closed down a couple of branches so I'm glad they opened one here even though it's kinda far for me. It's a standalone building with its own parking spots and instead of giving you a stand with a number all the seating areas are labeled with numbers. The restaurant is not small but probably best suited for party less than 6. The chicken is still phenomenal and everything tastes the same as the one in Fremont which basically means wonderfully delicious. Just order the chicken legs if this is your first time. Otherwise you'll know what to order.

The tandoori chicken here is absolutely awesome! Bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked, it truly stands out. Just like other Shalimar locations, this one maintains its reputation for serving some of the best Pakistani food around. The spices and authentic taste are unmatched, making every bite a delightful experience. Whether it’s the tenderness of the chicken or the perfectly balanced seasoning, it’s clear that quality and flavor are top priorities here. This spot is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious and authentic Pakistani cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back for more of their amazing dishes. Highly recommended!

Man once again another Indian place, this time on a hot day there air conditioner is not working, so many people can’t even eat food in peace. People here are sweating and having a hard time eating food right now. I asked for ice, they said we don’t have no ice. How are this Indian restaurant working and serving people. Also this place tables, floor, has a dirty look. I think this is going to be my last time here. Don’t recommend people coming here. If the place was good I would have referred it but this one is a no no!
