This Mountain Mikes location has gone down hill in a hurry! My family gets together with friends one Thursday a month for what's become known as "Pizza Night". For the last several years we've always gone to this Mountain Mikes, and have enjoyed it. Over that time span there's been at least one ownership change, possibly two. 2 months ago is when things started to noticeably change. I walked into the restaurant and there was nobody at the register. They had a bell on the counter which I rang, and ended up doing so 3 or 4 times with no response. There was a man walking back & forth in the kitchen, however not once did he even acknowledge myself or the other customers now waiting in line. When he finally came to the counter he told me my pizzas would be another 15 minutes, despite me arriving at the time they said (25 minutes). I chalked this up as one bad night, perhaps they had some employees call in sick, etc. Fast forward to the next month for Pizza Night...Once again I arrived at the restaurant at the time they told me over the phone (25 minutes), and once again there was nobody at the counter/register. Myself along with two other customers stood there for a few minutes looking at each other as once again the man in the back would be walking back & forth failing to acknowledge any of us! One of the other customers looked back at me and said they must have had someone call in sick...I advised him it was the same exact situation the last time I was there. When the man finally asked for the name for my order he said "5 more minutes"...Okay, no problem. I sat and waited in one of their booths. Time went by, more customers came in, etc. I went to check on my order, after 10 minutes past, and found out they forgot to make one of my pizzas. I was there 30 minutes total after initially arriving at the time they quoted over the phone. I was getting texts from those waiting for me to come home with the pizzas wondering what was going on. When my order was finally ready, I said to the guy "I assume you're going to give me a discount due to the big inconvenience?" However, he did not. He said I was already getting $5 off, and to that I said... yeah, that's from my coupon! He did not offer me anything additional, and never even apologized. It was one of the worst customer service experiences ever. I told him he has just lost a longtime customer, and that we'd bring out business to Round Table or some other pizza place. I ordered a Hilo pizza which is a Hawaiian supreme which comes with bacon, pineapple, olives, and pepperoni. When I get the pizza deliverd what I get is a pepperoni pizza and missing everything else. So I call the them back and explain the situation and I’m told by the girl who answers the phone what would you like us to do. To which I say I want another pizza the one I ordered. She then asks if I mean a new order and I say umm no I want the pizza that I ordered. I’m put on hold and then asked if I can come pick it up? I said no that’s why I ordered delivery. So then the extremely rude and unprofessional manager comes on the phone and basically says I have 2 options. Get a refund for the pizza or come to them and have it replaced. I just want what I ordered so I say that and he then says he cannot cause it’s rush to which I say no offense but that’s not my problem that’s why I ordered delivery and it’s also not my problem that you messed up the order. He then says that’s your options so pretty much take it or leave it. So I finally just said the hell with it and kept the pizza I got. Read moreUpon walking up to the building I noticed it was filthy, the stucco, the doors, the threshold, all filthy. Walked into the place and it was completely empty at 5pm on a Sunday. Got to the register and nobody was there. Hollered at a person in the back, they looked but we were ignored. They had about 8 beers on tap and 5 of them had paper cups on them, indicating they were out. Again I saw the fella in the back and asked, can we get some help. Ignored again. So I rang the little bell they had on the counter. Ignored!! Saw the fella again, he looked at me, ignored. So I hit the bell over and over and over, about 15 times. Finally a young lady can out, took the order and filled up a pitcher of beer. I delivered it to the table a came back for the glasses. She hands me 5 warm glasses, says they don’t have any cold ones. Mind you, not a single person was there. Took the glasses to the table, all 5 of them filthy with marks all over them. They looked like they were pulled out of bus bin. Anyways, we’re talking, eating and having a beer. Then all of sudden a man appeared across the way from a booth right next to the entry door. He had been sleeping in the booth!!.
