This review is from a long time ago and although I still occasionally frequent this restaurant in general and this location specifically it feels important to leave a review about my experience a few years ago. My brother introduced me to the place by telling me about all kinds of baseball style lingo that was actually kind of entertaining. As an example, the employee behind the counter will take the bread out of the sandwich and leave a hollow shell with the food in it, but, if you say, leave the dough, that means don't hollow out the sandwich bread. If you say, all the freebies, that means you got a range of sauces and vegetables that aren't normally added. Well, in any case, back then I was getting a number 7, leave the dough, all the freebies. It seems like every time they would miss something or add an extra ingredient. This happened five or six times until one day I came in with my dad. I ordered the same sandwich I always order, and my dad asked for the same thing. As in, I would like the same thing. They wound up making me the wrong sandwich, and then they made my dad a different wrong sandwich. I wanted to talk this out with them, but a Bus full of soccer or football players got off and it was impossible to get to the counter. My dad with the most upbeat attitude ate it anyway saying that even though it was wrong it still tastes nice. So, after about six or seven mistakes I tried calling to make a complaint. Someone returned my call but I missed it by only a second. I called back a few minutes later. I didn't know who it was initially and asked, and in response I was told if I check my answering machine messages I would know already. So I want to let you know it was off to a bad start right from there. Turns out it was the owner. She wanted to know what kind of sandwich I was ordering, and when I used their own lingo oh, she told me in a laughable tone that she knows exactly they keep making mistakes, obviously my order is too complicated! She then offered to write my name down on a little card and write my order on that card, to put it in the cash register so they can pull it out each time I come so there won't be a mistake. I suppose in hindsight that seems like a kind gesture but at the time I took it as an extremely condescending and insulting offer. I do not have a lisp an accent, any kind of disability which makes it hard to understand me, nor am I speaking differently than what would be expected in the store. I didn't go back for a long time. Admittedly I've gone back since and they've made less mistakes but this really hasn't ever left my mind.
I'd also like to compliment the young woman who years later came to recognize me every time I came in, greet me in a friendly fashion and would just start making my food. Unfortunately it looks like she either quit or was fired. That's some lost...
Read moreIt’s been a long time since I’ve been somewhere and felt like I was in pre-Covid times. My hubby n I ate here yesterday…. The gentlemen that work here are so nice, so pleasant, and very customer service driven. You’re greeted as soon as you walk through the door, they get your order right and they’re listening for any changes you want made to your sandwich. At the end they make sure to say goodbye and wish you a good day. Even hearing the interactions with other customers and how accommodating they were, it was so refreshing to watch. I usually don’t make reviews on fast food restaurants, but I felt like I needed to. Their restrooms are actually very clean (I do this thing where I checked the bathroom when I eat somewhere, it gives me insight to how clean the kitchen is. It’s my weird thing). All in all, I just felt like the gentlemen that were working there yesterday reserved recognition! They’re doing a great job and I’m bummed that we live too far to frequent this specific...

“Sam” checked us out, and she was absolutely rude and was complaining of being sick to her coworkers in-front of us while checking us out. We placed our order and proceeded to wait. Another two people came up to order and she was energized and sociable, which was super confusing and frustrating. We ordered two subs, chips and a potato salad (she rang that in wrong - bow tie pasta instead). We didn’t receive that side and we didn’t notice till we were home, which it wasn’t worth us going back at that point. Usually have had good service and good quality. However this time was really awful and frustrating including the...
