The people who work here are really mean people at heart. Specifically the chef and the cashier. I came with my family and my children to eat. My kids bought some Korean corn dogs and I got some soup from one of the restaurants called Don Mulee the red restaurant in the middle. The food court was full so we came to sit on the other side to sit and eat. We came to eat right in front of this restaurant. The cashier came over to our table telling us “no corn dogs”. My children needed some napkins so they asked the workers if we could get some napkins and they told us no we need to buy from them first and then we could get some napkins. So we had to go back to the Korean corn his place to get some. Other people were eating corn dogs as well right on that side of the food court. They kept staring at us ugly and we couldn’t eat in peace. And my children by mistake ask them for a fork and they told them no we need to buy from them. How much does a fork and napkin cost for you to give out? This shows their jealousy of the other restaurants getting more customers...
Read moreDelicious and authentic Chinese food, done with a Korean sensibility. The menu reminds me of the traditional 중화요리 houses back in Seoul. They hand-make all their noodles and dumplings in-house. I ordered the house lo mein with shrimp, and was happy to see it come loaded with veggies including bean sprouts, cabbage, carrots, bok choy, and onions. A nice splash of jalapeños gave it a slight Thai / Malay twist. It was wok fried and retained the smokiness. Nice chewy noodles and well seasoned, just a tad on the salty side, so if you’re low sodium, just let them know in advance. The entire staff from the cashier to the chef to the back of house people are personable and kind. Would not hesitate to send people here at all! They have some healthy options as well although a lot of it does tend to be the richer food we associate with gourmet Korean...
Read moreI am a JJambong lover and have been trying out a good number of Koreanized Chinese restaurants in heavily Korean populated areas like LA, ATL, and of course in Korea. Young Chow Loo has probably one of my top #3 JJambbong along with Jjangmyun (and I am confident other menus are just as good that I haven;t tried). I regularly come back here once a month or so from Lower AL and just wanna give a shoutout to the owner who keeps his food...
