My son has been wanting to come here for a while as his Korean friend told him about it. It’s not close to our house but, we were in the area after a swim competition. Upon arrival there is a register with one taped down menu and then to the side for dining in there were a bunch of menus laying on the freezer. I proceed to pass 3 of those to my family so we can all look individually. The rude woman who works there tells me we need to look at the other menu by take out. Why would it matter if you have at least 10 menus sitting there that aren’t being used. She referred to the other black lady waiting on her food as lady in a rude manner when her food was ready. Instead of saying here is your order ma’am it was “lady your order is ready”. Red flags throughout but, my son wanted it and it was late. My husband told me she had a bad energy with my 14 year old. My son is a yes sir, yes ma’am, thank you type of person so I know he was kind to her. Final straw: after we got our order from the young man that was kind, my husband went back in to use the restroom and get a water. The drinks are in the coolers. My husband said the woman told him “you have to pay for that” my husband told her why would I not know that I have to pay for a bottle of water. Very rude and potentially racist energy for over priced fried chicken. Won’t be back and I’ll use this experience to discuss not spending money where you’re not treated with respect with my child. We bit the bullet for him but, I will be letting him know next time someone has that type of attitude just leave before ordering and giving...

I found a love for tofu soup at Tofu House. After going solo several times, I brought my husband along to try something new. Before we even enter, he notices the Korean chicken joint next door. So a few days later, we give them a try for lunch.
He ordered the chicken sandwich lunch special. Extra crispy.
He described their chicken sandwich as "delicious", "nice and plump", having "perfect crispiness", and as the "best chicken sandwich" he's ever had. He walked out in a slight daze, speaking in hushed tones that it may be superior to southern fried chicken. Upon our return home, our poor children were subjected to both a passionate retelling of the sandwich AND photographic evidence. Smallish eyes were rolled...
He spoke of it again before bed. It's name was uttered a few times during the week. He even remarked on its excellent lunchtime pricing.
It was ridiculous.
Anyways, I got their half order of fried chicken (bone-in). I don't know why it's called half at all. It's a LOT of chicken. I can easily split it with my pre-teen.
The elementary-level sauce has enough kick for me and is super tasty. I get it on the side. The original crispiness level is perfect for me. The coating is excellent consistency, taste and seals in their juicy, likely marinated, chicken very well.
We went twice in a week. Great service each time, too. Then I took the kids while he was out of town. I want to try the others things on the menu. But I can't. Because the half order fried chicken exists.
I might have a...
Read moreWe have tried foods below so far: (all foods were taken out) Sweet Potato Fries - 5/5 French Fries - 4/5 (taste good, but too common) Onion Rings - 5/5 (my wife's favorite) Mozzarella Sticks - 4/5 (nothing special) Fried Calamari - 5/5 (my favorite) Appetizer Combo - 5/5 (combination of 1 through 5, if you want to order all food above, please order this to save your money) Sweet & Spicy Lv3 - 5/5 Compared to spicy chickens from other Korean Chicken restaurants, this is the first spicy chicken that didn't make me feel bloated and a discomfort in the stomach. Excellent taste Honey Garlic Chicken - 5/5 My favorite chicken! I really like it. It's for children and people who don't like spicy foods. Crispy wings - 5/5 Disappointed when I ordered this for the first time bc it was a bit soggy, but they improved it, and I was satisfied with my second crispy wings. Corn salad - 5/5 Like above, it was disappointing at first. But they accepted our complaint and improved it. Now, it's really good. Thousand Island Slaw - 4/5 nothing special, It's finely shredded raw cabbage with thousand island dressing.
All in all, they make excellent foods overall. Also, the receptionist is very kind, and when you are dissatisfied with something, just let them know. They will definitely fix it. I haven't ordered from other Korean chicken restaurants since I found this restaurant. I am completely...
