McDonald's — Restaurant in Dumfries

The generosity of this store is amazing. I walked in and noticed that a plague worth of flies were surrounding and eating the fries and open burgers in the back and then I realized that McDonalds is feeding the poor and homeless. That’s why the prices are going up, they have to save enough capital to feed the flies and we’re lucky enough to get those very leftovers. McDonald’s truly is doing the lords work. Not to mention the friendly staff! I waited 20 minutes to pick up my door dash order and the cashier and expo crew members looked me dead in my eyes and ignored me. Turns out my food was ready before I walked in, the awesome crew of McDonald’s were simply using telepathy to tell me it’s ready. Unfortunately I’m not a telepath like the rest of this super crew so it took another 20 minutes for them to ask me “If I needed any help?” WOW. Just amazing service. It only took 40 minutes to get acknowledged! Normally in other non telepathic stores it takes hours! Gotta love the quick and speedy service of this store!

Also they give free cheese slices! All you have to do is tell them NO CHEESE and BAM you got a free cheese slice. I’m Lactose Intolerant so I really appreciate them helping train my body to tolerate cheese! Awesome...

Worst McDonald's I've ever visited. Stopped by there while taking a very long family road trip and received the worst service ever. They were out of BBQ sauce, apples (with led to a very unhappy 2 yr old), only 1 honey mustard (so my kids learned the true meaning of SHARING), and gave us hard crispy over cooked fries. After giving them back the manager said "that's how folks here like them". After forcing down our half edible food we headed to the place play at 7:49 pm only to be kicked out at 7:57 because they CLOSE their play place at 8 pm apparently. When we asked Mr Davis where the sign that said such was located he said "there isn't 1 we just do it". Excuse me? So now we have unhappy AND teased kids at this point. If there was a signing such shenanigans we would burned energy before we ate. I've NEVER seen a play area that closes 3 hrs before the restaurant does. We went to speak with the Manager once again he said they close the play area because a homeless man comes in around that time. WHAT!?! So what happens if Mr Homeless comes at 8am? Do you close it forever now? This Mcdonalds literally does down as the worst I've ever been to. Good luck to anyone who decides...

As I came today to this McDonald's , my parents was with me, my father is handicapped ( amputated leg ) , my mother forgot the "walker " so I asked if someone could help to bring my father from the car to the chair without any thoughts Mr Sean Athor offered help, after he was sitting , my father was upset because he thought it was inconvenience for Mr Sean , so him and his supervisor Me Jason Thomas came and told him it was there pleasure to help out and they did it because it could have been there father. This act of kindness is such a great example of how employees should be, this was something I only know from the Arab nations and today I experienced it in America. Thank you will never express my gratitude, I'm deeply humbled by the compassion of those two employees, I hope the company will promote and acknowledge them in the uppermost possible way. Furthermore I hope that they will receive a position in which they can teach the same kindness and compassion to all the other employees.
