Denaro's Submarine Sandwiches — Restaurant in Dumont

I'mma start this with the only two downsides; cash only and longer lines during peak hours.

But of those are not remotely important when thinking about this place though. Their food is fresh and DELICIOUS. I'm not a sandwich person, I'm just not. But their fresh sandwiches, specifically the fresh mozzarella is worth whatever hoop you have to jump through to get here. Easily a local favorite though, so locals won't be reading this review because they'll know it.

If you're coming into town or just stopping through, check this place out for lunch. Check. It. Out.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Denaro's!!! I've been coming here for some SANGWICHES For couple years now and they cannot be beat.. they over load their sangwich with quality Boarshead.. they have that dude that is slicing that meat up.. the girl dressing them and going down the line.. the same staff is always there and they are super nice and very attentive.. they treat their customers very well and that's why they keep coming back... and whenever I need a platter of sangwiches for parties or whatever... they are amazing! The platters are full and pretty and the dressings on the side.. once you have a Denaro's sangwich... it's pretty tough to...

They only accept cash. What a turn off. Wanted an Italian sandwich and told the guy whatever comes with it on an Italian sandwich. Guy thinks my response was rude and then decides to give me a lecture on how picking your toppings works around here. Then I picked whatever comes on an Italian sandwich and each topping I pick hes telling me “it doesnt come with the italian sandwich”. or “it doesnt come with that”

Then tells me I should know better. You can recieve better service at blimpies or subways, they clearly know what an Italian sandwich is better than this guy. Don’t come here if you would like to be treated...
