Rice Pot — Restaurant in Duncanville

Horrible experience. Im still shocked at the level of service or should I say no service I received. I ordered $40.00 worth of food online to be delivered to my home around 630pm. I received a call 45 minutes later saying i lived too far and they wont deliver. I said what do you mean? I live 2 miles from the restaurant. They then said its because I live in an apartment. I told them no I dont live in an apartment, the young man gets back on the phone and tells me the delivery guy still said no that they wont deliver and that they would refund my money but it could take a few days for it to post back into my account. At this point Im very frustrated, its been close to an hour since I ordered and I already paid for it, my kids are hungry so I said I would just go up there and pick it up myself. So after the 2 minute drive up there I wait another 15 minutes because they cancelled my order. All the while getting rude stares from the staff like somehow I did something wrong. The only person that showed any kind of customer service was the young man at the front that did apologize for the denial of delivery for no reason and for the inconvenience of the situation. Im still confused on how this restraunt picks and chooses who they deliver to because they didnt have a problem accepting my money and delivery fee. But thats ok, since I wasnt given an explanation I just wont be going back...

1/17/25: Negative 25 stars for service. Carry out #28--first of all my friend ordered #13 Szchuan Spice chicken--dinner size, #15 King Pao chicken--dinner size, and 4 spring rolls. Ended up with a #14 Hunan Style chicken and #15 Kung Pao chicken, and ZERO spring rolls which we were charged for. Apparently the person taking the order doesn't LISTEN to what's being ordered, and damn sure doesn't CHECK the order to make sure everything is CORRECT! We won't be back. Going to Chinese buffet where if what we get is wrong, it's our fault. NO MORE Rice Pot. 8/2/20: The girl was just putting our order in the sack when we picked it up around 1130, 2 Aug. So much for NO PEPPERS in the kung pao chicken even though it was printed on the ticket, no peppers. 2 peppers on top and found 7, yes 7 more, in just half the order that was going to he eaten at that time. Too spicy even avoiding the peppers. Ended up trashing all of it! The girl sacking it should have compared the ticket to the food then she would have noticed the 2 peppers on top. Maybe, we got someone else's order that likes spicy!! No quality control nor checking what's ordered as to what they're sending out. What a disappointment!! The schzechuan chicken...

This place is HORRIBLE!! Customer service HORRIBLE!! I called in for a delivery gave them my address was put on hold for a very looooong time and the girl over the phone comes back to tell me they don't deliver to my area( not even 3 miles away). Hmmmm? I then tell her that they deliver to my home quite often. She states that the driver only delivers to my area in the morning and he doesn't go my way in the evenings. I then let her know that they have delivered to my home only at NIGHT several times. So what is he talking about? To me this sounded and felt like LAZINESS!!! I've heard of certain places not delivering after a certain time because maybe the neighborhood is not so safe but I live in a very nice neighborhood and not delivering in the evening makes no sense. ESPECIALLY since I only order at night for my dinner. I will not give this place anymore business and will be sure to tell others. They only got one star because I had to give them that to write...
