Ok not a crowd this morning so let me stop in...Now I normally get good service when I stop in to eat which is rarely even though I'm in the Hollywood Park neighborhood that it's located in and I'm a 20yr plus waffle lover. But I'll end up getting fat if I go every time my cravings desire the tasteš. BUT THIS MORNING THOUGH, oh Lord the customer service was HORRIBLE in the 5minutes that I stayed in. Now normally they greet you when you walk in that didn't happen okay that's minor.... I walked in and a customer walks in behind me, I sat in the stool next to register awaiting to at least be acknowledged, but that's cool that's minor...so me and the customer who came in behind me 5 mins later still waiting but she's standing up apparently waiting to place a to go order. After 5mins go by a group had finished eating walked straight to the register and got immediate service to pay while we are still waiting without acknowledgment. The lady behind me gets acknowledged how can I help you and said well he's before me so they ask me here to go and I said here and that's when I was told well that entire stool top is closed wow that could have been told me within the 5 minutes of waiting there so I sat at a clean table only to notice that the lady behind me was getting her to go order placed immediately putting me at an additional wait time for someone to come service me at my table .....I left.... horrible horrible customer service ... Do they want business or do they want people to leave so that they don't have much to do ....come on people get it together no wonder you have to go further out to get good service sometimes you can't just make a quick run outside the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in and ordered (2) All-Star meals, one with chicken and cheese in my eggs. The meals came out to $26.00, but the total bill came out to $31.20. When I asked the waitress about how did it exceed $30. Her response was, " It was the for taxes and 10% for a service fee." So I asked what is a service fee and she stated, " it's for all the supplies we give to the customers." Then I proceeded to ask her to see how she rung everything up on the little yellow ticket and that's when I see she charged $2.60 for taxes and $2.60 for the service, plus the $26.00 for the meals.
My problem with this is, I travel for a living and go to Waffle House quite often, and NEVER have I ever been charged a service fee. You want me to eat here and order your food but you're charging me additional for condiments and utensils that are expected to come with the food. My second concern is, the tax rate is 8.25%, so how in the Sam HELL do you charge 10% for taxes. Then she had the audacity to want a tip as well. I tipped her and told her I would NEVER return to this location again and will be filing a claim with the BBB because this location is over charging customers on the tax rate, which they are NOT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst, of all I ordered steak eggs toast and hashbrowns. Steak was overcooked and had a weird fish smell. I noticed a piece of hair on my eggs I just ate around the eggs because I didn't want to complain about again. As I got to the bottom of my hashbrowns there goes another hair similar to the one in my eggs. I already paid my ticket of 16$. I called my waitress over and showed her she agreed it's no way it could of been mine these were long eye lashes, at the moment I had none due to getting fake lashes all the time lol. I was so mad I was shaking I gave my waitress 10 because it wasn't her fault and plus just to show I had no reason to complain and try to lie I had plenty of money and always tip pretty good. The cook went about his business as I was there to start a problem. Now I could of pulled out my phone and took pictures but I was so mad. Then went to put me and my so in the Car guess a sewer pipe bust because I had to step in sewage just to get in the car. Worst...
