Big Sammy's Hot Dogs II — Restaurant in Dundee Township

I love Big Sammy’s food but even more I love big Sammy. Ironically, my dad’s name is Sammy (not Sam or Samuel; he’s legally Sammy) but all of his grandkids called him Big Daddy. Today, I got out of my car and my parent’s wedding band engraved with their names and the date of their wedding flew off of my finger and under the car next to mine. I looked under the car and thought I could see it but couldn’t reach it. I went into Sammy’s to see if someone owned the car beside me and if they would be willing to move it so I could retrieve my ring. Sammy himself was working at the counter. He could tell I was upset and asked me if I had hit the car. I explained what happened and he asked the entire restaurant if they owned the car and no one did. Then he brilliantly suggested using a broom to retrieve it. He even sent someone out to help me. I found the ring and will always be forever grateful to Sammy and his staff. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Sammy a few times and he always has a huge welcoming and genuine smile when he sees his customers. Go for the food. Stay to meet the man; Big Sammy. The restaurant is definitely perfect for something quick. I went here for the very first time, and the service was really fast. It is not only that, because the service is also very friendly and welcoming. The staff were so nice and they would even greet you right before you could say your order, which is really nice and definitely hospitable. The restaurant is also small, but it is extremely clean to the point that everything is in place and you will not see a single piece of trash inside. It is just a small spot, but their menu is the opposite. They have a very wide menu with a variety of options. Their menu is the type of menu where you would really think long before deciding because there are a lot of options, like what happened to me, but even after that, I just ended up having a hot dog with fries and a drink. Their menu has some good options, but I just felt like I wanted their hotdogs, which is why I decided to order them. Like I said, service was quick. The food is fresh and hot. It is very reasonable for its price. The hot dogs were good, as were the fries. Both are satisfying and comforting to eat at the same time. I had a bad experience, a young Hispanic man works there who takes the orders, he doesn't say hello, he doesn't ask how he can help us, he just told us right away (they can't eat here because we're going to close, only orders to go and There were 15 minutes left before the time that the place is supposed to close) there is no paper where it specifies that after a certain time you can no longer eat inside the establishment, another thing that I did not like is that they sell chicken wings and they do not they give you dressing or they don't offer you celery or carrots (which are supposed to go with the wings, my husband ordered a chicken sandwich, the guy put the chicken breast in the fryer where they cook the French fries that really freaked me out 😱 This person's purpose was to put oil on the chicken and he did it incorrectly and then he put it on the grill and that's called cross contamination! I WANT TO LET THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING THERE IT IS NOT GOOD AT ALL, I am certified in costumer service and I have my certificate to work with hot and cold food and what I saw there yesterday left me with no desire to return to that establishment, I hope the owner takes more care with the people who work there and I sent them to training so they can give good service...
