Emmett's Brewing Company — Restaurant in Dundee Township

I love the Brew house Burger. It's their Build Your Own Burger option. Everything you want on the burger is an extra $1. I usually get the burger with bacon, onions, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. The bacon and avocado are $1 each. Then I add a side of BBQ sauce to the order. The order comes with fries that have a little touch of seasoning in them, not too overwhelming.

I used to get the salmon sandwich. It taste pretty good. But since prices have gone up with the economy, it seems that the salmon piece they use has gotten smaller. But the burger still have a nice size patty. It fills out the bun, and isn't see through, unlike some places.

For dessert I get the Stout Brownie. It has a bit of peanut brittle on the top. The brownie comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Sometimes I order the Bread Pudding. It's a large piece, and pretty good too. But often I prefer the brownie.

Every time I order from this place the food is fresh, and delicious. I tried the beer that they brew too and I like it. I've bought a few six packs over time.

This place used to seem expensive, but now with the way things are with everything being so expensive, everywhere, this place is more regular price and even a little on the cheaper side now for the type of food it is. But the flavor quality has not gone down like other...

While picking up my togo order tonight i asked the YOUNG hostess about them being sure my food was correct. As i started to check for myself she stated that she and her manager put it together and she was sure.. I commented how this is a point of responsibility that is important and if you say youre sure, youd better be sure. With a smile i said this and she just looked at me with the "overly aware" teenage look. I got home to find theyve missed my 4yo kids spaghetti. I called and was 1st put in hold for 7 minutes b4 i hung up and called again to get no answer.. Several minures later i call again and her forst words were how theyre sure it was there and dont know what happened to it. I just 90 dollars including a 2+ dollar tip (rounding up) to be told or have it implied that im lieing for a kids pasta dish!! And to be clear i got 1 main entree, 1 entree salad, two kids meals, a side of fries and an appetizer of frird pickles that were said to be so good and no one here thought too much of them.. But again.. 2 entrees, two kids, 1 app 90 dollars and im lieing about a kids pasta. No she didn't say i was lieing but what else would you call it when she dbls down and says shes sure they put it in. Id call that implied. So disrespectful and lacking character all the...

Are you planning to get married in the near future? Do yourself a favor and contact Emmett's in West Dundee for your ceremony and/or reception! My husband and I got married there last weekend and I could not believe the level of service, elegance, ease and affordability of hosting a wedding at this venue.

We had our ceremony and reception in the large room upstairs, and in between, they hosted a cocktail hour in the lower side room while we took pictures by the river. They also let me and my bridesmaids hang out in their beautiful board room while people arrived, and it was really nice to have a quiet space to be before the ceremony started.

I really can't recommend this place highly enough. The Emmett's staff knew exactly what to do, and when to do it. They were so nice, attentive, and professional. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I worked with Ariana to set everything up, and she was great to work with too. All of my guests had a great time, loved the food, loved the atmosphere, and we would all do it again if we could!
