Benedicts Eggs & More — Restaurant in Dundee Township

I've been here a few times both alone and with a partner. The restaurant looks like it might have at one time been a home, as its exterior and eating area have a nostalgic blend of rustic kitch and simplicity. It's oddly comforting when you walk around the place, the low ceilings and squeaky floor boards make me think of my grandma's house, minus the peppercorn trees and scent of Virginia Slims.

The servers are polite and efficient, keeping an eye on you to make sure your drink is full but not hovering near you with the bill no matter how busy it may be. Despite your close proximity to other guests, it actually is pretty quiet here. I've sampled both their sweet and savory breakfast options, and I must say they do savory better, the quiche being my favorite. The prices are reasonable given the quality of the food and service (I usually get out of there for $15 or less, including tip).

The only reason I don't give this place Five stars is because I feel that people love to hype this place up, and I noticed that I was left dissatisfied after my first visit here due to that hype. Located at 8 S River St, East Dundee, IL 60118, Bennidict's Eggs and More has quickly become one of our favorite breakfast spots. My girlfriend and I recently enjoyed a delightful breakfast here and were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of our visit.

She opted for the seafood crepes, which were perfectly cooked and generously filled with fresh seafood. I had the Munich Bennedict, a unique and delicious twist on a classic that left me wanting more. The restaurant offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed morning meal.

The service was exceptional – fast, friendly, and attentive. The staff made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed. Our coffee was fresh and hot, and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a refreshing complement to our meals.

I am not a new customer to that breakfast place. I've always been happy untill today. I have never experienced anything like that before. I ordered a benedicts eggs on the veggies instead if a muffin. I always do and never had any problems. Today however a mistake was made and I was given those eggs on a veggies and some kind of meat/sausage (not sure what kind of meat was it). I told the waiter and he asked if I want it to be changed which I said yes. He literally took the plate back, they took the meat out, and he brought the same plate back to me in like 1 minute. I was shocked, speachless. I didn't want to make a scene so I ate it but it made me very uncomfortable since I don't eat meat. I know the meat was taken out but it has touched all the veggies and eggs. If you don't eat meat then it is a big deal. They should have made a new plate. Very DISSAPONTED. Someone could really sue them for hurting his/her believes. I felt extremely offended. I should have make them redo the whole meal. I just didn't want to ruin breakfast for other...
