I will preface my remarks by stating that everything I have had at Elianos Coffee as been excellent, except for the coffee which is good. HOWEVER, I still give the new location in Dunnellon an overall 1 star rating because the service is that bad. I have never waited less than ten minutes to get to the window and receive my order, except when I have gone in the middle of the afternoon. I have pull out of line twice and left.
The ordering process is flawed at best. During peak hours there are usually five or more cars in line at each window. Sometimes, an employee will emerge from the building to take a few orders and payment with a remote device. Yet, this still doesn't speed up the process. The other day, an employee emerged and took the order of three cars in front of me, but did not take my order or the car behind me. Most often (including the time mentioned above), I have not ordered until I drove up to the window.
Today, there were four cars in front of me. I waited over ten minutes to make it to the window, even though the car in front of me pulled out of line and left. No one came out and took orders with a remote device. While I was in line, two more cars behind me pulled out of line and left.
When I got to the window, I asked, "Is this going to be the ordering process or is it going to improve." She replied stating that I am only supposed to wait in line two and a half minutes. I laughed. By the time I left, there were seven cars in one line and six in the other. I drove next door and ordered a biscuit at Hardees. I made it through the drive thru and was leaving when I noticed that only one car had been served in the line closest to me.
I will be curious to see if management and/or ownership notices and improves the ordering issues before more people lose patience and return to Dunkin or The Station Nutrition (which I am going...
Read moreThe coffee is bold and delicious but my first visit was disappointing today. The girl at the window did not smile through the entire process. She said all the right words in a flat tone, had me sign a handheld mentioning the optional tip, which I provided. As I set my coffee in the car I realized I had not been provided a receipt, so I asked nicely how I could get a receipt for the purchase (I wasn't sure with the handheld if I had to put in an email ect) and she replied , still no smile "all you have to do is ask for one". It was not said in a very friendly way. Companies usually provide you a receipt automatically. If they do not, a better response would have been something like " I can get your receipt for you" or "I'll print it out for you now". "You can ask for it" is not very good customer service, especially without a smile when I just paid almost $8 with tip for a...
Read moreI don't know what time of day others are going, or maybe I'm just getting the wrong people, but I've been twice, and sadly, there won't be a third. The TINY small White chocolate latte with oatmilk tastes like there is no flavoring added, bitter burnt tasting espresso like its been sitting out on a warmer, the turkey bacon cheddar sandwich was GREASY as all hell, was SCALDING like it been nuked in a microwave with the croissant completely soggy, the bacon was soggy, whitish in color and in a gross pile had to be pulled off of the sandwich. I was disappointed to have spent $15 to throw out my lunch that I ordinarily would not buy and treated myself to. People work hard to just give themselves a little treat, and to be met with that type of food for the price is super aggravating. I also did not seem to...
