*** ZERO STARS *** Wish I could comment on the taste of this food however I was not able to get by the rude staff who acted more like they were shooing flies off animals in a zoo than in a food court. As you walk by they offer chicken samples as all the other nearby restaurants do, stretching over the glass case of food with chicken on toothpicks. My party of 3 walked by, very interested in purchasing. It is our first time here. As we were about to take the chicken we asked what type of chicken was being shoved at us on the stick, as there were many poultry dishes on display. "chicken" was the response. Assuming there was a language barrier we asked again, pointing at the different ones. "Chicken" they rudely replied. "What's the name of this one?". We asked nicely. To which the response was a shooing dismissal and wave of the hands to us. We were flabbergasted and went to the Sake Japan next door who courteously offered Teriyaki chicken samples. My aunty purchased a TASTY Bento box with chicken, rice/noodles, veges, spring roll and dumpling for $13.99 from SAKE JAPAN. Assuming better service would be had from another employee, and to give Basil Thai Kitchen a fair shot, we then returned to the ladies, and asked again what chicken samples were being offered. This time they totally ignored us and haggled other passerbys again dismissing us with a shoo like wave of hands. I went to the cashier and quietly asked for the manager. The cashier suddenly did not know English. Could not provide a phone number or business card for the place. Could not find a manager. I am all for equal opportunities but being able to speak the language should be the basic requirement for a customer facing position or at least integrity, honesty and courtesy. At that point in time, I decided to take my business elsewhere. My mother and I then purchased a 2-item and a 3-item combo from Pei Wei Asian Express where we previously were presented with delicious chicken samples PLUS courtesy and respect. Basil Thai Kitchen did not get my money. And never will. ZERO STARS.

Tried this place last week and I’ve been back at least 6-7 times obviously I’ve became a regular. These ladies need an attitude readjustment. I ask for extra sauce one day they say no more sauce your total is (whatever my total was) manager I think came from the back gave my the sauce no problem and I gave him $5 I came the next day food was fresh didn’t need the sauce I came today it’s a little slower so obviously it’s a little dried out I asked for extra sauce (we don’t have any you total is 11 and some change) Went back and forth she told me to wait 2 mins while she cashes NEW customers out. I get back in line, my foods getting cold as you purposely have me wait. It’s fine. She brings the sauce I pay, before i leave I taste the sauce. COMPLETELY different sauce than the chicken I ordered I asked for my change back because the sauce was wrong she said it’s the only sauce they have when there’s about 5-6 different chicken options with different sauce. I took it and left. The food is obviously great but the front ladies obviously haven’t been in the industry as long as I have I’m a server and every time I’m disappointed with the attitude. It’s not needed for some sauce.

I thought this place was great. They offered me no less than 5,000 samples until I went with the sweet chicken and bang bang chicken combo. You get a bunch of food and it’s worth the price. I would suggest not indulging yourself on samples like I did or you might be full before you start eating like I was.

I always come to this restaurant I love it but today was different there is a REALLY RUDE service I was with my little brother and he really wanted rice so we went there he wanted to try the chickens cause he didn't know what chicken to pick we nicely ask and they give us to try one then we asked to try a sweet chicken and they refuse because they said they only let customers try one chicken witch is not true then they started ignoring what I was saying is a child who want to eat there and just trying to decide what chicken they want instead they called of for next...
