Wendy's — Restaurant in Durham

Worst customer service experience. Came at 3pm on 6/10/23 to place order via drive thru. After saying hello for 5mins over the intercom to get someone to acknowledge me no one answered. I decided to drive up to the window to ask to for assistance on placing my order which at that time I was told “We are in the middle of a shift change so we can’t help you for about 10mins. You need to come inside or get back in line and we will help you then.” I told the staff member I will gladly wait in my car at the window until the shift change was complete since by now 5 other cars were behind me in drive through. The staff member rolled her eyes and shut the window with excessive attitude. After waiting 10mins for shift change the same team member opened the window and asked what I want and when I told her to place my order she stated I had to go in the back of drive through line or come inside. Note: During this time I see another team member collecting payment from vehicles behind me and providing them with their food.

This was the poorest customer service I have ever experience and the staff should be ashamed of themselves. If the store manager, regional manager, or corporate wants the information as to who was working during this time I will gladly provide you the information so you can train the staff at this location properly before you lose more customers due to lack thereof...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! GO ELSEWHERE! This place has the absolute worst customer service. I been here 3 times. The first time..rude….got a 4 for 4 fries were COLD when I specified FRESH…came a 2nd time, asked for a salad..the lady on the intercom (drive thru) was like “we don’t got no salads!” I was ok damn my bad. ( of course I didn’t say that out loud it was just in my mind because of the way the employee said it.) she has a deep voice like a stud, black and has dreads. So rude. Tried it again. So today was the final day.. 7/24/23 at 2:30pm. I got the new grilled chicken wrap asked for FRESH fries. I waited about 20 mins in drive thru at the window. While I’m waiting I see a white girl, a little hefty set leaning over the counter with her stomach all out her shirt, scrolling on her phone. ( not making fun of plus size women b/c I’m plus size too) but she shouldn’t be leaning like all over the counter like that during the work shift. Go to the back room, bathroom SOMETHING! Then when I get my food the drive thru girl never said a word to me and guess what? My fries was COLD! Like what was I even waiting 20 mins for? This place is completely...

I am not familiar with Wendy's menu as I rarely go to fast food restaurants; however, our power (both at my own and my parents' house)had been out for 12 hours and I wanted to get my parents something to eat. I pulled up at the drive through to order (no one was behind me), asked a couple of questions about the menu, then placed one order. The woman taking the order was extremely rude and demanded that I drive to the pick up window. I said that I needed to place a second order, but was ignored. I drove to the pickup window where the woman handed menthe order, demanded payment, and was just terribly rude. I told her that I needed a second order, which she then took with very poor grace. I paid for both and she said to puĺl around and they would bring it out. After 4 cars passed me, obviously having gotten their orders, I went inside. An employee saw me, apologized, and said that he had the order. I thanked him, asked if the window person had added the sauces I asked for; he looked inside and said, no. Anyway, guy inside was very nice, pickup window woman was incredibly rude, and the food...
