UPDATE (12/2022): Iโve stopped by several times at John David Jewelers to get the same repair done. The chain on my silver necklace breaks and needs to be reconnected maybe twice a year, so I would bring it in and they would fix it in less than 30 seconds at no charge, despite my insistence. Sometimes he would even polish my daily ring too, without my asking. I was very grateful for their kindness and recommended them to all my friends, because I was so surprised by their generosity in not even charging a flat $5 fee, or something along those lines. I never expected this to be free and was always willing to pay, but they insisted. Because I had nothing short of GLOWING experiences here, I thought it would be no problem to ask my boyfriend to bring my necklace there to be repaired, just like I always did. I told him it would probably be free, but definitely less than $20 (wouldnโt be worth it). He texted me after dropping it off that it would be over a month and $60! I called them immediately to ask why it was costing so much and taking so so much longer than normal (like I said, not even 30 seconds usually and I never had to drop it off, I just waited). The lady who answered the phone was very exasperated with me saying that because he dropped it off they have to charge a flat fee, labor must be paid, itโs the holidays so theyโre busy, etc. Of course I understand that labor must be paid, but $60?? After getting that same service multiple times for $0 (and a review)? Of course the holidays are busy! But why would you require a repair that small be dropped off during such a busy time? She was very condescending and blamed my boyfriend for dropping it off instead of waiting. He explained to her that one chain link was broken and she told him to drop it off for $60. That was predatory, gross, and relying on his ignorance of jewelry repair standards. Luckily she let me have them set it aside and pick it up the next day. Will not be returning nor recommending due to sexist business practices. Such a pity.
(2020) I came in today to get the chain of my favorite necklace repaired. Everyone there was so kind, welcoming, and friendly. I am so glad I chose John David Jewelers for my repair. I will 100% be returning with any future jewelry repair I may need. Thank you for your...

By far the best experience at any jeweler Iโve ever had! My fiancรฉ (then boyfriend) and I came here in Jan 2024 to look at engagement rings and found them via google. As soon as we entered the shop weโre were met with the most warm hello from Regina! We didnโt know anything really about jewels or rings and she was so sweet, patient and informative of on the different diamond options. She went over lab vs natural diamond, and the different cuts and clarity to help us understand what it all means.
When designing my engagement ring she took her time with us, we never felt rushed or overwhelmed. When the diamonds and band we ordered to try on she would let me take my time to see what I liked. What was also amazing is that the actual John David who makes the jewelry came out and chatted with us as well about everything we needed to know about engagement rings making the experience that much more special and cool!
They made the ring shopping experience extremely enjoyable and made our engagement experience very memorable. It felt amazing to be able to know the people who were making my ring and felt go to support a small local business.
Weโll 110% be going back for our wedding...
ย ย ย Read moreI just had my family heirloom necklace repaired here and I couldn't be more pleased. The necklace and pendant are 30-40 years old and were my grandfathers and are extremely meaningful to me. As such, I have worn them since he passed, 11+ years ago. Unfortunately, the clasp recently opened by itself and I almost lost the pendant and I didn't want to take any chances. I started looking for a local, family owned business that did work on jewelry in house and this is exactly what I found with John David Jewelers. The staff was extremely courteous and listened to my request to repair the item and answered my questions. They even informed me that the chain was sturdy besides the year of use, but would eventually need to be replaced and to let me know to plan for that eventuality. I had a new clasp and bail installed and the pendant built up where it had worn down from years of wear. The staff did a fantastic job and turned around the item in a shorter time frame then originally agreed upon and it looks great! My wife commented that it looked like a brand new necklace. They have a customer for...
