China Star Super Buffet — Restaurant in Dyersburg

OMG I love this place sooooo much. I been in a lot of Chinese restaurants, and I do mean A LOT! Some were good, some were terrible, some were just ok. Then there's this one. China Star isn't really what I'd call a good Chinese restaurant and it's definitely not terrible. China Star, in my opinion, is by far the best Chinese restaurant that I've ever had the pleasure of dining in. Most of the restaurants that I've been in have, maybe 3 or 4 things on their buffet that I consider ok or, (at least) taste good enough to eat. That's the way it's always been for me. That is until I stumbled into China Star. This has been my very favorite eating place since I moved to Dyersburg about 20 years ago. When we lived here we ate here about 2 or 3 times every week, and I never got tired of the food here. I think it just gets better all the time. Well I've moved away from Dyersburg, and even though we live about 65 miles away from China Star, we still eat here often. It's worth driving that 65 miles to get this delicious food. I have loved this place until yesterday. We went in just after opening. I was getting a scoop of black pepper beef and there was long stringy hair hanging down from the spoon. I got an empty plate and put it on it and have it to guy. I watched a guy come out from kitchen and he went over and stirred it then when around stirring different dishes and return to kitchen leaving it out there for people to eat. We got a ticket for the few bites we did get to eat. My wife paid for it even though we shouldn't have. Then I told him that the guy left that food out there and I'm not eating where they leave good out that had hair in it for people to eat. He told me he would take care of it . And said he take care of me next time. Well there won't be a next time for me. I feel that the guy comes out stirs and leave good sitting there that a customer found hair in, then what will they leave out the customers don't see? If I could give this restaurant a 0-star, I definitely would. Although the manager did handle my problem very well so I will give credit where credit is due. I just stopped to eat dinner here. The buffet. I was enjoying my meal, until I looked down and noticed a gnat stuck to my sauteed shrimp. I tried to discreetly call a waitress over to tell her the problem. She took a fork and moved the gnat to the side of the plate and tried to cover it up with sauce and act as though she couldn't see the obvious gnat. And it was obvious. It was a large gnat. Finally after trying to argue with me, she called a manager over. He took one look, and asked if I wanted another plate. I said no I really just want to leave. He said that is fine and my husband and I left. I'm sorry but if there are gnsts in the for then they are in the kitchen because I didn't see any...
