We’ve heard horrible things about this place from everyone we know. Well I’ve been wanting to try their burger since they opened so tonight I decided to go. I arrived at 5:20 to only 3 cars in line between me and the order sign. I just knew this was going to be a good day! I noticed a couple of my buddies were eating inside, so I called them and asked how it was going. They told me that literally everyone that works in there were fighting with each other about how none of them work lol. They said the girl taking the orders was mentally not their and she was most likely high on something walking around like a zombie. They invited me to come in and watch the show. I told him I was going to give it a couple minutes then I’m leaving if the line doesn’t move. After 20 minutes of waiting I was at the sign. They immediately told me to hang on. As I was fixing to leave my friends came out and begged me to wait because this was something everyone should experience in life lol. They told me both their orders were wrong and only one person out of the 10 inside had a correct order. They said that the high girl was mumbling to everyone how she’s quitting soon and doesn’t care about anything anymore. After a couple of minutes they told me to proceed with my order! I had everything ordered in less than a minute and they repeated it correctly then told me to pull around. We slowly moved up in line until the truck in front of me reached the window. Me and my friends couldn’t contain our laughter as the old man and woman handed their food back and fourth through the drive through window complaining about how their order was wrong. The old man spent 20 minutes at the drive through window taking burgers apart 1 by 1 showing them how they got it wrong. Finally the manager showed up to the window and done it herself. She must have got it right because this time the bag stayed in the vehicle. As the old man and woman in front of me left. My friends went to their vehicles and told me to call them after and tell them how my trip went. I approached the window expecting the worst but we have had such a great time watching the drama unfold that at this point it wasn’t about the food anymore it was about the memories lol. The guy had my bag ready but no drink or shake in sight yet. I wasn’t going to open my burger until I left so I could tell my friends over the phone exactly what I have in my bag. And spending a very long time at the window finally my shake is ready! As a new girl hands me my shake she proceeds to hand me 6 bags of chicken fingers. I tell her I only had the shake and was still waiting on a dr.pepper also. While patiently waiting I’m listening to everyone inside yell at each other. If they had a show I’d watch it every night! As the window closes I can’t hear them anymore so I wait a little longer and decide that if I can’t hear the drama it’s time to go. So I tap on the window and inform the young man that I still haven’t seen my dr.pepper anywhere. The window closes and after a couple minutes my drink has arrived! I leave Jack’s at 6:12 knowing that most likely my order is wrong but it was a good time! As I get home I proceed to open my meal…. Everything was right except for my burger. I ordered a double cheeseburger with Mayo and got a toaster sandwich with bacon lol. I ate it because I DEFINITELY wasn’t going to let that go to waste. Even though it wasn’t what I ordered the food was great! All in all Jacks has some really good food and shakes, but you have a better chance of winning the lottery than them getting your meal right. It is an experience that I will never put myself through again unless they completely change everything but it is definitely one that everyone should experience just once!!! I had to give it 3 stars because the food is great and the experience was unforgettable! Customer service gets a...
Read moreI felt compelled to take a moment to share my recent experience at your Dyersburg location, which truly brightened my day and left a lasting impression on me.
After a long twelve-hour night shift, I was exhausted and, to be honest, a bit grumpy. All I could think about was indulging in some biscuits and gravy. I had never tried this dish from Jack’s before and was hesitant, as it can be hit or miss at fast food restaurants. However, my hunger prevailed, and I decided to give it a shot.
When I approached the drive-thru, I was greeted by a woman whose name I believe was Brianna. I asked her about the biscuits and gravy, eager to know her personal opinion. Her response was both genuine and refreshing. She simply said, “I have it often.” That small exchange struck a chord with me, and with her enthusiasm, I decided to order it.
Upon reaching the window, I was met with Brianna’s bright smile and warm demeanor. Her energy was contagious, and it felt like she truly enjoyed her work. After I paid and she wished me a good rest of my morning, I drove away with my food, feeling recharged and uplifted from that brief interaction.
And let me tell you, the biscuits and gravy were every bit as good as she promised! I thoroughly enjoyed them, but more importantly, it was Brianna’s kindness that made my morning special. I even felt it necessary to call the store afterward to let the manager know how much that small moment impacted my mood.
In summary, I wanted to express my heartfelt gratitude for having such an incredible employee like Brianna on your team. Her warm personality and genuine care for customers create a positive atmosphere that resonates well beyond the drive-thru. Thank you for fostering an environment where such kindness and dedication can thrive.
I look forward to visiting Jack’s again soon!

Read moreI was more impressed with this visit over previous visits to this franchise location. The establishment is consistently clean and inviting to dine in.
The evening staff was working diligently to get everyone's orders completed correctly, so we waited a few minutes to get our order taken. That was okay as our brood usually needs to refresh the menu in their mind for the order which they desire for their meal. We were able to order and get our drinks and be seated to await our food. It was not long until our name was called for us to retrieve our dinner.
The food was warm and thoroughly cooked. We had chicken and fries and our youngest enjoyed a small burger. The meat was freshly cooked and not dry to our tastes. The fries, which are seasoned, were warm and tasty. The meal entrees were very satisfying.
Dessert was not a disappointment, either. After ordering our three shakes, each a different flavor, we waited anxiously for our names to be called. As I ordered a double scoop cup, I received my dessert first. The ice cream was cold and creamy, easily eaten with the spoon. The other three desserts were shakes and fixed to order. The sighs of approval said we had selected the correct desserts for their tastes.
In all the experiences at this franchise location, this experience outshines the past failures. I definitely believe the local Jack's staff and employees have finally gotten their act together and have been instructed how to receive an order, fill an order, and serve their customers that which was ordered by them.
Good job, Dyersburg Jack's!! I now feel I may return...
