Mooshi Tea & Poke — Restaurant in Eagan

The lights caught my eye as I was walking past. I am very happy that I decided to stop for dinner after shopping. It was 5pm, and I was the only one in the store. Usually, when there is a lack of customers, I fear and have experienced bad/old food served. However, I was proved wrong with my order.

The lady was very nice and generous. I feel that for the price of the poke + lemon tea combo, I had a great serving size. The food was fresh, and she was generous with the sauce, tempura crunch, and sesame seeds in my poke. I've been to places where I only get served 5 tiny pieces of salmon, but I feel this place gave me the right amount for each bite.

I don't like my drink overly sweet and often choose 25% sweetness. I also like to taste the tea in my drink. I was very satisfied with the lemon tea and the fresh tea with mousse I got. She said that the lemon tea is normally sweet, and it wasn't confirmed, but I speculated she made my lemon tea less sweet when she saw my 25% preference. I really appreciated that. This is the 2nd time I have gone here. I go during the day so it's not crowded. It is very chill and seems like a nice place to hang out. I take my baby with me, and everyone seems very friendly and not bothered about it. I also had my little dog in here the first time, and they didn't mind. Ordering it on the screen makes it so much easier because with all the baby and things I had with me. The drinks so far we're very tasty to me. I liked that I can adjust the level of sugar because I don't like my drinks super sweet. They gave me a punch card so it's nice that I can get some rewards from them. The drinks are a little bit on the higher end but considering that they're located in a premium outlet mall, it makes sense. I think so far, It's good that the mall have this here for easy snacks. Three stars because the flavor of the poke was great and the people were really nice, but lost two stars for the portion size. $14 for the regular size bowl and I had just 4 small pieces of tuna in my bowl and seriously like 10 strands of crab mix. I was so surprised at such a small portion that I mentioned it to the lady and she said that’s the full scoop. She said if I wanted more fish I should have paid extra for the “fancy” bowl which has much better portion sizes. I just said, wow that’s so expensive for very little fish. She did end up bringing over a small additional bowl of toppings by time I was already done eating, which was really sweet. But then she just said next time order the bigger -more expensive- serving. I’m small and I just don’t need a large bowl. I just actually wanted some poke in my poke bowl....
