The smoked meats are amazing, but they forgot to smoke the Buffalo Wings. You already got the smoker going, throw those in too. The pizza is high quality with a fresh tomato flavor, the cheese is good and the deep dish crust is a little dry compared to the fried in butter crust I usually get. But for the price it's 5 stats. The smoked chicken pasta is good, but it's hard to eat with a thick layer of cheese covering the pasta and meat like raft of cheese floating on top of sauce. I heard they make their own noodles (which is insanity at these prices) but I could barely find any under the massive boat of cheese. The cheese should be a part of the sauce, and not a separated entity covering the meat and pasta, the smoked chicken saved it though, very good! Garlic Cheese Bread was right up there with higher end pizza places, and the sauce isn't very spicy or seasoned, but it has a great tomato flavor and tastes balanced, which is a nice change. The sit down area looked cool, it even had a mini bar. I'm sure this will be a nice hangout place for friends and families. Good food at good prices. Not a bad launch for a brand new pizza place.

For the price, I did expect more. I ordered 1 thin crust pizza, 1 deep dish pizza, and some spinach and artichoke dip for takeout. The 3 stars are only for the artichoke dip. The thin crust was OK. The deep dish was another matter entirely. To start, it was not cut, I don't know if this is standard for takeout for scratch pizza. It is the first time I've gotten any take out pizza that wasn't cut. It wasn't a big deal since I brought it home. What was the problem, was that I ordered their 10" signature pizza, the scratch pizza with pineapple added. What I received was a pineapple and cheese pizza for $23! I guess it's my fault for not looking at the pizza before I left the store. I would not recommend pizza. It is very overpriced pizza, the spinach, and artichoke deep was good at least.

We got the thin crust BBQ chicken specialty pizza. It was tasty! Definitely something I'd order again! They were generous with the cheese and other toppings. It came out nice and hot! The place was clean. The service generally normal. I would have liked heavier plates, but I'm not going to knock them for that since it's personal preference. Overall, I'd definitely come back and get this pizza again. Total for a large BBQ pizza and a beer came to about $27, so pretty reasonable.

Scratch Pizzeria: A Taste of Eagan, Made with Love and Experience

Scratch Pizzeria, a welcome addition to Eagan's culinary scene, brings more than just delicious, homemade pizza to the table. It delivers a heartfelt passion for food, a commitment to community, and a wealth of experience from a dedicated team.

Led by owner Matt Pomplun, a lifelong Eagan resident with a lifelong dream of owning a restaurant, Scratch Pizzeria feels like a warm embrace from a familiar friend. The staff treats you like family, which is why we find ourselves here more often than not. The restaurant, located conveniently at 3450 Pilot Knob Road, exudes a family-friendly atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a casual meal with loved ones.

But what truly sets Scratch apart is its dedication to quality. As Matt proudly declares, "Everything on our pizzas is made from scratch," from the tangy sauce to the savory sausage and the perfectly crisp tavern-style crust. Each bite is a testament to the team's 150+ years of combined experience in the restaurant industry, honed at establishments like the beloved Italian Pie Shoppe.

The menu boasts a tempting array of options, from the signature "Scratch" pizza (with $2 from each sale going to the Eagan Sports Association) to the flavorful Fresh Spinach and Artichoke Pizza. Whether you're craving a classic combination or a custom creation, Scratch Pizzeria has something to satisfy every palate.

But the offerings extend beyond pizza. Indulge in bone-in wings, a hearty Philly cheesesteak, or a refreshing salad. And don't forget to explore the full bar, featuring a diverse selection of specialty cocktails, mocktails, THC drinks, and even root beer floats.

Scratch Pizzeria is more than just a restaurant; it's a community hub. Matt and his team are eager to partner with local businesses, schools, and nonprofits, further solidifying their commitment to Eagan.

If you're looking for a delicious, authentic pizza experience in a welcoming environment, look no further than Scratch Pizzeria. It's more than a meal; it's a taste of Eagan's heart and soul. Thank you, Scratch Pizzeria, for...

I am sooooo beyond disgusted with this place and with the owner I just witnessed him kicking out a disability person in a wheelchair wich is a great friend of mine because of a review they had left on Google of there experience and it wasn't bad I am disgusted with it and will never come back there again myself the bathrooms have no heat properly working there is recently a space heater plugged in the women's at the door when you walk in so if it started on fire which could be a fire hazard no one could probably get out of bathroom there is no working warm water to wash hands and herd the same in the men's bathroom that is a code violation I'm sure and I don't care if I go back because of that this is my freedom of speech and my first amendment rights leaving this review I felt he was being discriminative to a disabled handicap person I'm just sooooo sick to my stomach it is a tight squeeze to move around in there I'm not a claustrophobic person but I feel like it in there the girls that work there I don't have a problem with they are sweet and all and serve good but what I witnessed and many others this was NOT OK or the appropriate actions to take...

This is a great place if you like bone-in wings with ranch! Ordered online and upon pickup, I checked my wings box to find Buffalo chicken tenders instead of bone-in wings in 2 flavors. After a brief moment of uncertainty, I showed the server my receipt and she offered to remake the wings. 15 mins later she told me they again messed up, but was upfront that I could keep the “messed up” chicken they made in error, and she gave me a gift card to make up for service. I walked out with a mostly cold pizza and 3 things of chicken. I offered the giftcard to the homeless man camping on their corner, he didn’t want it. Pros: Ranch dressing is the best ever. Wings are amazing. At least 1 employee takes ownership for human error and has great customer service skills. Family friendly- kids were welcome there and enjoy it. Cons: May make simple errors on orders even on a slow night. Pizza may not be cut thru all the way, toppings fall off if you don’t do a second cut. To-go food may not sit under the warmer if waiting on it for pickup.

Thank you to the employee who was able to keep me updated on my order, and try to make things right, even though she was...
