All staff were very personable and helpful, came here to find office khakis and buttons ups, but only left with pants unfortunately as they do not stock 3XL at all sizes in store.
There is a whole corner of the store dedicated to fitness equipment and clothings / accessories (grabbed a nice CamelBak bottle for the gym), and left with two pairs of great fitting interview clothes and jeans (lots of clearance pricing)
Lots of clothes from rugged shirts to professional button ups, whole shoe section with a huge variety, will try to get back here to get pics in store but will add what I found here for others to get an idea of what to expect.
Pants sizes go up to 44, but shirts sizes reach only to 2XL which I am tall and overweight (working on that) so I personally need 3XL for a comfortable fit but was told 3XL size is not stocked in store, which is why I gave 4/5 as this was disappointing not to have a 3XL at least small selection.
I saw something about ordering different sizes online and picking up in store which may he a redeemer, I was disappointed there was just a section but had some empty clothes racks that could have held a small fat guy section :)
Found great utility / office acceptable khakis and a nice pair of jeans, would recommend for at least pants shopping and definitely for tops if you fit comfortably in...
Read moreMan, what a disappointment. Went in thinking maybe REI has a competitor in town. This store....I cant even describe it other than it was like a big weird garage sale. Its 80% clothes, most of it one off clearance like a marshalls or something. Their camp gear was so tiny, they had one tent set up. But seriously soooo much random stuff! An area rug? A single snowboard. 2 cots on an endcap in bashed up boxes, one paddleboard, a few dayhike packs and nothing for backpacking, a single shelf with some single pairs of ski boots, a single pair of alpining boots. Another tiny area with a couple camelbacks and cycling gloves - yet they sold no bikes or helmets or tubes anything else to do with cycling so why this one piece of shelf space? So disorganized and random and SO much wasted space. I dont know why anyone would ever come back, it's not like you can "find what you are looking for" and even if you find something you like it better be your size because it is probably the only one. Just still in shock...
Read moreMarshalls/TJ Maxx for the outdoor crowd. Has been a digital outlet for a while and nice to have a brick and mortar presence around. Seemed well maintained (store about a year old) and operated. Friendly staff and store manager checked in on me 3x, as did others. I have never gotten this level of service Marshalls, e.g. Asked one question about a product and employee used phone to scan bar code, showing me the product description on the STP website. The staff was not uberknowledgeable, not neophyte either. Younger, like HS or college age. Only limitation for me is not knowing what's in stock at the store based on the website. But that's not how these stores work. It's always a surprise. Their product mix was OK on gear but don't expect REI. Certainly enough to find everything you need for a weekend backpacking, but you're more likely to find a wide selection and/or good deal on shoes or performance apparel. Good...
