This is a beautiful park! We went on a whim while visiting Eagan as it looked like the trails were accessible. I was able to wheel around and enjoy nature. It's a very large park that we'll go back to as we only went down one trail. I did see beautiful flowers, cross a bridge, sit by the water and see turtles sitting on a log. It was fantastic! If you're in a wheelchair, this isn't flat but the grades that I was on were not difficult. I'd say the steepest was about 7 degrees. I did see a long hill that was definitely too steep (for me) had I chosen to go straight after the bridge vs doing the loop. I'm excited to go back!

We went to Central Park for the MN Scottish Fair and Highland Games. The kids LOVED the splash pad! It was large and lots of fun. There is a large playground as well, but we didn't go to that area, but it looked pretty nice. The band shell looked very nice as well. Lots of parking, and indoor restrooms right next to the splash pad. If it was closer to home, we would definitely go again. Maybe for the Scottish Fair next year!

Splash pad is always fun. All the things work. Shade to sit in. Clean bathrooms. A nice playground right next to it. Walking path is wonderful. Even better for running with small hills. Beautiful gazebo to sit in. The summer markets are always fun, but parking fills up fast. They are absolutely worth it though for the live music and farmers markets.

I walk in this park nearly every day. It has paved walking paths with small hills through big old trees as well as wide open areas in the sun that are also used for farmers market Wednesdays in summer. Dogs are welcome on a leash & poop baggies are available at several spots along the way. There is variety along the paths, some groomed gardens, others with wild flowers & tall grasses. I love the variety and the way the paths are woven around the woods, ponds, and open fields. The community center is right there, with an indoor workout room, an indoor kids play gym, and conference rooms. They rent out for wedding receptions with nice places for photo ops, especially at the gazebo and near the pond fountain. Picnic tables are scattered around the park. There are 2 covered picnic shelters that can also be rented for family or other group gatherings. There is a kids playground with slides, climbing sections, etc. Also some adult outdoor equipment for serious fitness, located conveniently across the path from...

ECC is a great place for the family to enjoy. My kids have always enjoyed visiting here and can easily spend several hours playing. Splash pad, band shell for community events and public music, a large fitness station with many different types of equipment to choose from, a large athletic field for soccer or open play, a large shaded pavillion near the splash pad with public restrooms and water fountains which have always been clean. A nice walking path around the pond which has a nice water fountain feature, a gazebo right on the water, there is a separate pond that has some koi fish to enjoy looking at as well, sculptures, art, informational signs and memorials all throughout the park. This park frequently hosts events here throughout the...
