At the drive thru tonight, I arrived at 12:35 A.M. with one car ahead of mine. That car was served within 3 minutes and then my vehicle was at the window waiting for my food after checking in for my mobile order at 12:35 A.M. and it literally took them until 1:15 A.M. to get me my order which totaled $28.75. So 40 minutes to take care of one vehicle! When I asked them what took so long, the worker said they had run out of chicken and beef so they had had to cook more. I asked him why he hadn’t told me that right away and he simply ignored my question and handed me three coupons for free tacos. The whole experience had me wish I had just made food at home. I won’t be returning to this poorly staffed, and poorly run Taco Bell. Also, at about 1:00 A.M. a worker from the back almost gave me a big bag full of someone else’s order. Luckily, I told him that can’t be my order before he handed me the big bag, because I had ordered 3 boxes and one separate item. So they really don’t know what they are doing at this location. They also never apologized for the long wait. I worked at Taco Bell almost 30 years ago and we did a much better job than this one does. And having worked there I know there is no way it should take 40 minutes to cook chicken and beef. Plus I didn’t order anything with chicken in it anyway. I drove further to this Taco Bell to try to support an Eagle Mountain, Utah, business even though the Taco Bell in Saratoga Springs, Utah, is actually closer to where I live; but I won’t ever return to this location. They really are terribly run and the food portions sizes were much less than they were supposed to be and the food was cold. Just an awful experience in every way! I contacted corporate through the Taco Bell app tonight about this...
Read morei came through the drive through last night at around 7pm. we had placed two separate mobile orders. we ordered 3 chalupas and all of them were customized, one of which had been ordered with no cheese or sour cream due to a dietary restriction. we checked all of them while waiting for the rest of our order and they all had cheese and sour cream, so i let the person working the window know and i told them that we could pull forward if needed to, as i could see that they were very busy. they went and spoke to who i am assuming is the manager, and he had them ask for all of the chalupas back (isn’t that a food safety issue??) i then heard him yelling at the employee and saw him THROW the last part of our order across the counter. the employee at the window was very kind and doing their best given the situation, but i’m aghast at how the manager was treating them and so baffled by him asking for us to give back the food. i work in fast food, i understand the stress that comes with rushes, but i would never treat my employees or my customers that way. every other manager i’ve seen working here has been so kind and accommodating, but i wouldn’t want to come back while the manager from last...
Read moreI would say it's Taco Bell but it kinda isn't... Not anymore. It's mostly the same flavor you remember and crave more often than you should, but the quality has definitely declined, over the years, and needlessly so. Bear in mind we're talking about Taco Bell - the quality wasn't super abundant to begin with. But these days even something as basic and fundamental as their Taco shells are inexcusably lacking. The soft taco shells are actually more robust than they need to be, for a little taco, so they're not pushing the limits there. But if you get a crunchy taco nowadays, you WILL NOT get an intact shell. They're so thin the moisture in the meat bleeds through and sticks the shell to the paper wrapper, so it gets torn apart before you even have a chance to bite into it. I keep my bathroom stocked with toilet paper that's thicker and stronger than Taco Bell crunchy taco shells. WTF?! I think I might have to quit Taco Bell - Del Taco is doing a better...
