Save your money. Go down the street. I've never felt the need to write a bad review. If you see my history I'm not even a review person. I came here because it somehow has 4.7 stars . I'm a HUGE BBQ Guy and I can't exaggerate it if I tried. I'm also on a carnivore diet so all I eat is meat. I work driving railroad workers outbound from San Antonio and I wanted to stop for some bbq... it was the worst most unflavored bbq I immidiately spit out the ribs . They were so soggy like mush as if they were steamed like veggies... then I gave the brisket a try and it's so dry. It's 1000% no doubt reheated. Look at the color on it. Not even fresh. I immidiately asked for a refund and kind lady with pink hair at the register asked the guy behind the counter if I can get a refund because I don't like it . I offered the food back in my hand while doing so and he laughed and looked at me and said "no man" and kept laughing and looked down cutting more of that disgusting reheated steamed mush meat. It's sad, I was excited. I explained I didn't like it at all n he laughed at me a 2nd time and looked away again. That brisket is so dry and the coloring alone acknowledged its poor attempt at a reheat....
Read moreVeryyyyy Great Price on my Chicken plate!!
FOOD, taste great, and the Chicken was very tender, and everybite was an excellent smoked and well cooked BBQ. The Mac & cheese was ok, flavor needs to be More like bacon or Real shredded Cheese instead of Cheese Chips sprinkled. The Streat corn was flavorful, hot, and every bit was great. The Quarter Chicken was delicious with the sauce, giving it more added flavor. I was impressed with the presentation of this Tray Dish. SERVICE: was good, the cashier was polite and respectful, and she stayed smiling. And the head pitBoss was nice and gave me a sample sauce to try out. Keep up the great work. ATMOSPHERE: Clean very large plenty of room To sit comfortably, the "Wagon Wheel" has nothing on this establishment. Keep this in mind, I'm from out of town 4 hrs away. All honesty as a Google Food Review Guide. And it's like night and day. I will come back many more times to try...
Read moreA co worker of mine told me about Choche’s BBQ & Bar. This spot was absolutely the place for local BBQ. I bought the brisket, it was flavorful and very tender. The portion size was enough for lunch and dinner. The ribs were delicious, they fell off the bone. The BBQ sauce was great too. If you love BBQ jalapeños wrapped in bacon with BBQ sauce. I suggest try the “Texas Twinkies”. I’m happy to say that everything that I ordered was delicious. If you have to travel to Eagle Pass TX, or just passing through. I highly recommend Choche’s BBQ for the best...
