Motel 6 Eagle Pass, TX - Lakeside — Hotel in Eagle Pass

I initially booked one night for 09/16/2025. Due to a change in plans, I ended up booking two extra nights and was charged a (the hotel was not fully booked) higher price. On the last day I left my room at around 11:30 a.m. and came back at 22:20 hours (approx.) to find out my room had not been serviced. I notified the desk lady who seemed to be upset for interrupting her activity on a crossword puzzle. The first thing she said after my complaint was "I was not here" she checked the book and stated that somebody had knocked on the door and there was not an answer. I asked her at what time this was done, she replied "I don't know, I was not here" I asked "how do you expect for somebody to answer the door when there is nobody in the room?" Visibly more upset, she replied "the ladies are sometimes given denials for service from the guests" I replied; "who could have answered the cleaning ladies if nobody was in the room?” Turning away from me she stated: "nothing can be done" I suggested "read the next reviews", to what she replied "I don't care" I then replied: "you will" and went to my room. Tomorrow I will request to talk to the manager and file a complaint. I wonder if the wages paid to this lady concierge are so minimum that she does not care about customer service and reacts defiant to a complainant. I will give this hotel a low review for customer service. The rooms are clean and neat but the attitude of an employee like the concierge tarnishes the image this hotel advertises on the web. The images online portrayed the property as extremely clean and this is what I thought I would be getting for over $150 for a single night. My husband and I noticed that the floors were sticky immediately after entering the room. I walked from the door to the end of the room and could feel and hear my sandals sticking to the floor. On top of that we noticed two large arms and hands above the bed on the wall...it didn’t really leave too much to the imagination to realize what these were from. My husband took photos and brought this to the staffs attention and requested a new room. They refused and said it was from the maintenance man working on something. The only others items in that area are the bed frame headboard and picture. They agreed to mop the floor but I found areas were still sticky. They did nothing for the wall arm imprints, they were still there. My poor husband tried cleaning the wall and dirty headboard but we could still see an outline on the wall. First and last time staying here. I’m pregnant so this just made the stay very uncomfortable knowing that that was above my bed frame. They should be ashamed for not acknowledging what was plainly on the wall. We stuck it out because we really had no where else to stay....

Motel 6 Lakeside in Eagle Pass Texas from the moment we walked into the front door we knew that this place was first class. From the check in through the check out was the best I have ever encountered at any hotel or motel. From checking in with the General mgr she was very pleasant and very helpful. Housekeeping was always eager to help with anything. They was all very very friendly and it made us feel like we was home the minute we entered the doors. My husband has ruptured dusk in his back and wakes up every morning with his back hurting but the 3 night here his back never hurt him. I have recently had to have a cervical infusion on my neck and it hurts every morning no matter what or how I sleep, not the three nights we stayed there. We purchased 4 of your pillows and a queen size comforter , it was well worth it again no pain waking up in our bed this morning. I had reserved a room at the La Quinta down the road we walked in the front door and told the front desk clerk I wanted to cancel the room all together. I stated it was dirty and the cigarette smell liked to knock you down when you walked into the lobby. So you are top of the chart in my eyes perfect service immaculately clean rooms.
