After driving past this restaurant many times, I decided to give them a try. The restaurant was clean, not crowded and the staff friendly. After my failed attempt at the Mexican Bakery El Buen Pan to get a Tres Leches cake I tried La Casita. My order was to go, I ordered the cake for my co worker, a quesadilla and a churro for myself. The menu is extensive with some of everything on it. They have a small self serve salsa bar with disposable gloves. Placed there for people to hopefully use them. Notice I said hopefully. The patrons at the other table didn’t do this of course, no fault of the restaurant. My wait time wasn’t too long. The churro was warm and rolled in cinnamon and sugar, the outside was crispy and the inside was soft and chewy. The quesadilla was crispy and had seasoned shredded chicken breast and cheese inside. The Tres Leches cake was a chocolate cake, it didn’t look like other tres leches cakes I’ve seen, the presentation was a hmmmm. I can’t give my opinion on the taste, I’ll leave that to the coworker I got the cake for. It’s a nice restaurant that I would...

This place was just ok. As advertised, they are different from your usual Mexican restaurant but that may not always be to your liking either. I ordered 2 tacos, one shredded beef which was decent and one carnitas which was not, it had 2 pieces of hard gristle that ruined it for me. The tortillas are also fried a bit with what I believe is paprika. My wife got the Elote and it was ok for me but she said it was way too much mayo flavor. She got the 3 tacos that comes with a beef stew. She had some of the same issues I had with the meat. The stew was nice but a bit spicy. Also, the salsa bar was not the greatest, tended to be very watery and the chips seemed...

We come here often. This is authentic food, and it's delicious. It's not like every other Mexican place in this area, thank God. The parking lot is not always empty, quite the opposite actually, so not sure what that guy is drinking. I highly, HIGHLY recommend the tamales. The best tamales I've ever had in my life; nice and simple with fantastic flavor so nothing needs to be drowned in cheese. They're just that delicious. Also, all of their birria dishes are fabulous. Not a huge fan of the salsa bar, but that's literally the only thing I don't enjoy.

Give it a try. Maybe don't get takeout since condensation is a thing. But otherwise, 100% this place...

I have been a a faithful patron for over a year. I cannot speak to atmosphere or dining experience....Every Saturday I order 3 tacos to-go. Not sure if there are new owners, vendors or cooks. But my steak tacos smelled straight up like shellac or paint thinner, varish or something. I'm not a Karen, or a complainer. I have a cast iron stomach and will eat just about anything...but I called a nope to these. Is it even steak?!!? I didn't even eat the chips and extra salsa cups I ordered (which now cost 75¢ each 😳). Won't be back...so sad because they were my favorite.
