Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Easley

It was an hour and a half before close and the store was quite busy. It seemed like people were running around and not getting anything done. There was a line and there were about four people in front of me (not including my mom or my younger brother) and it took me nearly thirty minutes to place my order. It ended up being the smallest burrito I have ever received from there because they didnt want to make more black beans or beef and wouldnt let me do half and half on either one. While I was trying to ask if I could just switch to chicken they put half a scoop of beef on my burrito and slid it down. I stood at the fresh part of the burrito making process for about five minutes before they came to finish it up. At this point my mom had taken my card down to the cashier to pay for all three of our meals. By the time some one came to help me finish my burrito and I got down to the cashier part of the line she had vanished. My burrito was sitting behind a chip heating machine with no one to hand it to me. At which point the workers walked up and started talking to eachother about a catering order they were making that needed to be ready in the next 30 minutes, which is why they were running around but nothing on the line was happening. They were to busy making what ended up being three nacho orders and one burrito that they couldnt sever the people waiting in line. I tried to ask one of the employees to hand me my meal but none of them would ever look at me. At which point I tried to get my meal by reaching around the counter and grabbing it. One of the employees finally noticed me and grabbed it away and asked me to pay for my meal. I had to go get the receipt from my mother and show them I had paid for it before they handed me my meal. I had been to this one a few times before and never had this experience. All I can assume is I caught them after a busy stressful day at work and that they just didnt quite have the right people in the right places assigned to a job. I think if I ever have the cravi g for moes again I'll just drive to the one...

I typically do not do this but after the same experience multiple times each time worse than the previous visit maybe atleast someone in charge might see this. There needs to be a serious evaluation of the efficiency of this store. First of all It is dirty inside, secondly we have now numerous times ordered online and today we are nearly an hour later… 30 mins past the scheduled time of the order and I was informed my order was given to someone else even though they had not begun it when I walked in. To top it off you have multiple employees out back taking a smoke break. As someone who’s worked out in the sun all day and a family to get home to this is very disheartening and again not the first or second time of this same story. I understand things happen, short handed on staff or peak times but there’s not a soul inside eating and it surely shouldn't be my experience this many times. It is not up to the standard...

I am changing my review from a 5 star to a 2. I’m just being generous. The employees served me at the counter well. Right after we had our trays. There was no where to sit. Every table was filthy. They can’t say they were busy. Every table was open except for 3. There was no line. Employees were standing behind the counter. We walked around the restaurants with trays looking for an ok table to sit. I saw the young lady at the register watching me. I then took a napkin and tried to wipe one of the tables. The coke machine.. nasty. Filthy and sticky. The floor, the glass doors.. what the heck do the employees do when there’s down time?!? This restaurant is going to make someone sick.
