The Silos are refurbished from yesteryear. It is a fabulous atmosphere with several different eateries within the area. I am from NJ ( no, I dont miss it.😁) but I have missed certain foods or drinks that, though there are options locally, there has not been a genuine Philly cheesesteak to be found. Untilllll.. Inky's. I could write about them til Jesus comes! Inkys was located in a mini plaza in Easley for a spell. They have joined the variety shops at the Silos. The finished silo that houses Ink6s is such an inviting and comfortable atmosphere. The reconstruction of the restaurant is perfect! The food....the food!! If you like a Philly cheesesteak, you will feel as if youve landed in the center of Philadelphia. Inkys ships in Amoroso rolls. That may mean zip to some, but to transplants, this is a heavenly word! These rolls!! ....you will never be satisfied with any other sandwich roll once you have a bite. The menu is full of 'extras' and the french fries are superb as well. I have been to both locations. Each visit was predictable. The food was fresh and presented as ordered. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. After Inkys you stroll out to smell fresh cooking donuts and fresh brewed coffee. That statement does not seem to emphasize the glorious smells! 'You Drive Me Glazy' is a one of a kind experience. Donuts are made f4esh from order. Several combos, too many to list! Raspberry Lemon, Oreo Crumb, Maple Bacon( dont knock it til you try it!) and many, many more! The most delicious ever! Then there is Ninja Warrior Coffee. No coffee comes close to this! There is also Pink Mama's Ice Cream, Silos Brewing for a variety of flavored beers. There is also Indian food, pizza, and others. A very nice place to visit....
Read moreWhat a wonderful discovery The Silos was! I can't recommend this place enough. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately struck by the calming and genuinely relaxing atmosphere. The space feels like a true retreat from the everyday hustle, with a peaceful vibe that makes you want to sit back and savor every moment.
The experience was made even better by the incredible people who run the food trucks. Every single vendor I interacted with was so incredibly nice and welcoming. They were happy to chat, answer questions, and you could feel the passion they had for their food. It truly felt like being welcomed into a community.
And let's talk about the food! The highlight for me was the ice cream, which was nothing short of divine. It was rich, creamy, and clearly made with a lot of care. It was the perfect treat to enjoy while taking in the serene surroundings. Every item I tried from the various food trucks was delicious and high-quality.
The Silos is more than just a collection of food trucks; it’s a destination that nourishes the soul as much as it does the appetite. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking for great food, friendly faces, and a truly tranquil atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to...
Read more1st: Parking is a mess!! Plan ahead for an Uber or Lyft. 2nd: Have an idea of what you want to eat, there are several options and if you're hungry now, order online ahead. Indigo Kitchen and Inkys don't disappoint. Great food and good service! But again, plan ahead they're always buss'n. The atmosphere is great, fast service at the Silos brewery, we did non alcoholic drinks, and just as fast. Dog friendly with unlimited water and bowls available for your furry friends. We just tried the new Rooster Buns, if you order anything in "buffalo" expect it to be swimming in buffalo sauce. I ordered the "Barn Burner" salad and couldn't get half way... a salad should not be bathed in so much sauce!! It supposedly had ranch, fried onions, lettuce and blue cheese crumbles but who knows... the sauce left the rest tasteless (and I'm not one scared of heat). We also had their trash can fries.. OK. They were good but the BBQ was over cooked to crunchy cristle. Next time, we know to stick to the good stuff; Inkys and Indigo! We've never had anything bad at either just a wait with from...
