Horrific service. Food good but we could not enjoy it. 45 minutes after our children had FINISHED their meals a different waiter dropped off our entrees. Forgot the salads completely. Not to mention food still on table, no water, no children drink refills. Did not even see our original waiter until after I told waiter #2 about the terrible service. How were we to enjoy a meal when the children were past one hour of our being seated. To add insult to injury, seated customers complained about my little one after our family was subjected to two hours of incompetent service. Manager Christine thought she could make it better with a discount. It was nice that she did give the children a bowl of ice cream as they were already finished with their meal to keep them occupied. Didn’t work. It was not about money. I’ve been in customer service for 38 years. I know that anytime a customer wants money, it delineates the issue. She should have left it alone. We were ready to leave, a bit upset because the customer yelled at us. She kept asking me what I wanted. I once again said it was not about money. She actually got snippy, said “well all I can offer is my apology” in a huffy manner, turned her back (and butt since I was seated) to me and huffed away. Rude behavior to add insult to injury. If you have children DO NOT GO TO THIS RED LOBSTER. You’ll be better off going to the...
Read moreThere were issues with my order (food not arriving) at least the last three times I ordered delivery from the East Brunswick location. The most recent order (6/22) included the Kung Pao Shrimp meal but the restaurant forgot to place the shrimp in the container with the noodles. So, I received a container of noodles and vegetables only. How does that happen when they do not have a vegetarian option on the menu? Anyway, I spoke with a manager who apologized and immediately offered to issue a credit, which was appreciated. But, there were food items missing from the prior two orders as well. When I initially contacted the restaurant about a missed meal from a prior order, an employee stated that I needed to contact the delivery service (Door Dash) to get a refund and was unable to explain how that made any sense when I paid the restaurant for the meal and NOT the delivery service…Eventually I spoke to a sensible person/manager who did the right thing and offered to issue a credit. Although the restaurant has offered credits each time, the fact that this pattern of food missing from delivery orders indicates a management issue. It doesn’t seem like they have anyone (or anyone thoroughly) checking the delivery orders BEFORE they are released to the delivery service. And ultimately, it’s a poor reflection on this...
Read moreService was good. I hadnt been to a Redlobster in about 15 yrs because I wasnt satified with t he quality of the fish. I see thi ngs are still t he same as far as that goes. I ordered broiled flounder. First off when my meal arrived I saw 4 pieces of the flattest & smallest flounder ever. They were the size of the individual ones that you get a few pieces pieces in plastic in the supermarket freezers. The 3-5 lb bags like the frozen tilapia and whiting come in. They came looking well seasoned with a redish color. Well..that deasoning had no salt and no flavor. It was nland like hospital food for someone on a redtricted diet. The salad was boring too. I hate a piece of my friends wood grilled salmon which was DELCIOUS!. The server asked how was the food I explained about my flounder which was obvious since all 4 pieces was still there except for a fork full. She asked did I was a container and I told her NO the fish was tasteless. Now every other restaurant would have asked the manager to come over and see what they could do. Perhaps fix you something else or remove it from the bill. Not here. Lol Biscuts still like I remember but now they sell t he mix in stores so I will still make those at home . The 2 stars is for biscuits and my...
