Savvi’s Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in East Hartford

Great food and great service even through all the COVID issues. I have been coming here since I moved to the area 12 years ago and Savvi’s has been the most consistent restaurant in the area. The standard pizza does have a crust that is thicker than I like (I grew up in southern CT, lots of New Haven style pizza :) )but it is delicious and so order it that way as well, they are willing to make most pizzas with a thin crust if asked. Another plus is they cut the pizza as it should be, none of this pub cut square BS. Grinders are awesome and dinner portions are generous. I sent some coworkers that were up from TX there and they raved about how great it was, they were happy to have some real Italian food and great pizza which they can’t get in...

EXCELLENT pizza, EXCELLENT prices, EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!!! The best way to explain this resturant is to tell you, experience it yourself. I feel, its an experience that you and the family would love to go on a weekend before heading to the movies. From there, you can decide whether or not it's lunch time material.

My wife and I made that decision, we go whenever we take our lunch break.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger from here 9/12/18 around 7:30 at night. Ate most of it while driving home and once I got home I noticed the burger was PINK inside. I was completely disgusted especially at the fact that I ordered it to be WELL DONE! I will never order from this place ever again this is the worst experience ever especially having to be sick from eating that. Never again. I even called them to let them know so another customer wouldn’t have to go through the same problem and the guy I spoke to on the phone told me that there is nothing they can do about it.
