Cream Time Restaurant — Restaurant in East Hartford

Hi. I ate at a Jamacian restaurant yesterday and the food was terrible . So, I ordered a similar dish from Cream Time ; because, I still had a craving for excellent jerk pork from a Jamacian restaurant. I ordered steamed broccoli , cabbage, corn on the cob , and fried dumpling. I also had a pineapple and ginger drink. I asked if the jerk pork that was already cooked had a limited amount of salt? The staff said yes. Then, I wanted the steamed broccoli, cabbage, and corn on the cob to have no salt. They said yes . This was excellent customer service ;because ,they accommodated my request. Another example of the wonderful customer service was the staff bringing me the pineapple and ginger drink when it was not in the bag. Everything tasted delicious and that is not an easy thing to do without salt. My craving for jerk pork has been satisfied, but they have ,so many delicious foods on their menu that I am sure I will be able to find another fantastic meal. Jerk chicken might be next to eat. I do not know , but I am 100 percent sure that whatever I choose from the menu I will love it. Lastly, I would like to write to the restaurant owners, cooks, and employees thank-you for an amazing meal and perfect customer service. I highly recommend this restaurant. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this outstanding Jamaican restaurant, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The cleanliness of the establishment was immediately noticeable and set the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Jamaican dishes, each more tempting than the last.

To complement the delicious food, they also sold traditional Jamaican condiments and drinks, which was a delightful touch. The dessert options were equally impressive, with Jamaican ice cream and milkshakes that were simply divine.

What really stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. The staff were incredibly pleasant and attentive, making sure every aspect of our meal was perfect.

Additionally, the restaurant offers catering services with their food trucks, which is a fantastic option for events. Overall, this Jamaican restaurant provides an excellent dining experience from start to finish. Five stars...

I had given up trying to find a place that would replace my favorite spot for jerk pork after it closed during COVID. A random conversation at work changed that as Cream Time was recommended by a coworker. I called in an order and when she asked if I’d like jerk sauce on the pork, I knew I found it. The price and amount of food were comparable to others I’ve tried but once I tasted the pork; I knew I found my new go to place! I had most of it that day and the rest for breakfast at work the next day! I can’t ever remember so looking forward to get to work before yesterday ! 😃 I had oxtail gravy on the rice and peas and not only did I get the cabbage mix, but they also threw in some plantains! 😎👍 I will be going again soon to get the large again but I will be using cash because the wife thinks I’m on a diet! 😉
