Number One Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in East Haven

I ve been a customer for over 2 years I didn't want give bad reviews I even tried more then 2 times to speak to managers and owner regarding the services and food to call me back not once did it seen they don't care nothing but the money the food is bad the rice dry no taste, the pork fries littery can count how many pieces of pork you there s in the plate you can count it they so petty when it come down to serving food but then want to charge crazy prices they constantly change I don't understand if I order same everyday why prices gotta be different 🤦🏻doesn't make any sense we'll if you dont order 20$ or more they don't deliver I don't mind paying for food as long as it s worthy the price and taste good no is perfect but when they keep messing up then all I hear sorry for inconvenience or trying justify their mystakes but continuestly doing it's pattern and a problem I'm good I don't recommend anyone to order from there the food is bad , they re rude , expensive not worth the prices all they care about money I'm scared to keep complaining because I used worked in restaurant before the cook get mad if you complaint about the food spill on it or throw the food in floor then reheated 🤮🤢 I even had food posion...

The food was great!!! The people where very nice, except for the delivery driver. Who drives a black car he's very rude vulgar and LAZY. He doesn't like to come to your door God forbid if you live in a apartment building. He will call you and sit in his car and tell you the doors locked. He wants you to go down even after you explain to him that someone is opining the door for him. He gets really mad and he actually told me never call number 1 again if I can't come down stairs. Mind you I was very sick and had no energy to go down stairs. This is not the first incident that we had with this same driver... Another time he got in the building and was standing inside by our elevator instead of just coming up he lied and said the door was locked!!! He actually was already in the building... HE'S A HORRIBLE DELIVERY DRIVER WITH A BAD ATTITUDE AND IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN I WON'T ORDER FROM NUMBER...

I never do this.. write bad reviews… but… the shrimp toast was black and burnt… the general Tso’s chicken was soggy… and the pork fried rice … I think I found 2 pieces of pork. I called the restaurant… to talk to them first.. before I thought of making this post and the woman I spoke to was yelling at me and hung up! I was nice, I did not even think about writing this. But I work hard for my money.. thought I would give myself a treat and have some delicious Chinese! Please go elsewhere. This was a huge disappointment and when I called to let them know… they yelled at me and hung up. Please see attached photo of gross burnt...
